Bro I have worked with these robotic arms .... even where tesla car parts are made ... these are not much intelligent... these are used to perform a paticular tasks .... they are not made to make their own decisions .... main thing is that in U.S , Canada security measures are strictly followed that even on small injury on finger they call paramedical teams to send the patient to hospital ... that's why a small incidents becomes a big thing 😅😅
The concern about AI replacing jobs is a valid but complex topic. If AI takes over our job. A new job will also be available like maintenance of robots, data, and more.
I am not totally agree with you.. but yes you are right on some points.. AI has potential to take so much jobs faster than people are evolving for newer sectors.. but AI is also important for better future.. Industries needs AI for automation... Automation leads to faster manufacturing of products.. but Government should take initiative towards skill development.. also improving the curriculum of schools and universities are very much needed..
As a robotics engineering undergraduate, I appreciate your this video and all the points you covered up. As you said 'For every Newcoming Technology - there are their Pros and Cons'. Nice Video.......Btw In India, I think it will take more than 50 years to implement robotics advanced technology (like humanoid robot). Till this we'll continuing only with robotics arms. And I must say the robotics technology used in medical field in India is fabulous - with its precision controlling, less errors. ( I'm saying this on my 30+ hospital visit throughout the country)
As a person who works with these kind of arms on a daily basis, In industrial setting we usually call it as robots. For example, “robot 1 didn’t picked up the part”. And obviously media always add masala to everything. Also accidents happen if people are not careful in a plant. I think it’s similar to someone carelessly cleaning a CNC machine without turning it off completely resulting in amputations. Right now I believe AI is not that advanced that it can carry out all the operations itself without proper coding or moreover plot an attack on someone.
Attacking a person seems not possible for AI as of now.. people wants this masala for fun.. media is serving what people are wanting.. Media is working like a restaurant where consumer wants something delicious and media is serving as consumer need...

Our government should actually take necessary steps to regulate AI usage in economy because as we are labour intensive country we need to create more employment for actual prosperity and development. Making people jobless with technology with result in downtrend rather than uptrend.

AI has its own goals like when humans build a road they don't care about the trees or if a colony of ants is in a way they don't care about it, they will just create the road anyway without caring about ants, but still they dont have ants it's just ants were in the way. Same goes for AI if it has a objective it will do all things it can to reach and complete it, just like ultron had an objective to destroy life for peace and passed it to vision in WHAT IF....
