nepal bhasa ma podcast is the best thing I have watched till today. But Aashutosh, the words like dhama, 16 haat, la si, etc type of words ko meaning thaha navako ma matra hoina hola. Ani subtitle was also not helping me. It would have been much better if you had written the meaning somewhere in the video. Hope you understood me. And yes, feeling proud to listen podcast in nepal bhasa. Keep it up.

very informative video, sorry to tell but even me being a newar i couldnot quite understand the teminology for parts of the rath. subtitle bata ni bujhena... photo bata bujhauna sakinthyo ki? i am an architect and i guess making a 3d model of the structural part of the rath and traditional constructional details would help in transferring the knowledge of traditional engineers to so called modern engineers.

Dont need to be defensive on the making to rath weaker. Using century old technology by humans , may have some hiccups once in while. As far as I remember, construction quality have become better in recent years compared to 20-25 years ago. If you dont have problem with rath once in a whole, you cant have the thrill of using 'janglah'. It isnt difficult to use the best engineering tehcnologies to make it better, but then, it would steal the thrill out of the jatra, kill its very essence. Huge respect for Barahi community for making jatra possible for more than 1000 years!!
