Granted, that the OG Blue Hammer didn't give a good look in this experiment, but what would this experiment look like if the Purple Hammer, Rotogrip UC-3, Radical Double Cross, or the upcoming Hammer Black Widow Pink Urethane, were used instead?
hmm I would love to see this same test with the hybrid quantum helix / double helix balls. Since it's flaring onto the reactive surface then maybe there isn't as much carrydown as a full urethane ball?
How do you get around the wiggle created by the dude throwing urethane up the track all damn night? Ugly wiggle by 2nd game and nobody moves left at this house so was stupid uncomfortable playing deep but can't get ball to go thru correct due to wiggle. Any advice is appreciated yall. TNJR
Those watching this video, please note that the white Quantum Bias has an Asymmetrical core type, and the Urethane ball has a Symmetrical core. The Asymmetrical ball has greater flare potential then the urethane and thus way more hook.
Interesting. Would be interested in seeing how plastic affects the lane also. I very rarely use reactive on a house pattern. Sometimes, the house patterns are hooking so much that I use plastic.
The carry down was so minimal...people hating on urethane need to come up with a better argument. Low flaring balls carry oils down too. At the end of the day...skill cannot be compensated for. Learn to bowl better and make better shots instead of relying on the ball to do everything.
