@@wackery_zeimer no judgement, I was highly entertained....I was just letting you know they do sometimes get super weird about that shit. That said, that was awesome...lol...I loved it. Alec had some definite anger issues..I saw the curb stomp on TV and then he went hands on and shoved that dude in green...so I'm shocked he's not suspended
I don't think I was in the right, but it did happen awfully quickly. Ideally, there would have been a marshall there warning of the crash just past the apex of a downhill corner, but there wasn't. I reacted too slowly, tried to go through a gap I thought was there, and bumped into Cowan. My reaction isn't what I'd have liked it to be either, but I definitely lost my cool when a guy who has 20-30 lbs on me blew up and started screaming in my face. I talked to another rider in that pileup, and apparently Cowan was storming around the road yelling at other riders like that too (in addition to stomping on another rider's wheel and then pushing him, which I'm sure you've seen by now). Perhaps this incident would've been avoided entirely if he wasn't rampaging around and just got out of the way. Ultimately though, you're right, it's on me for running into him. I think it's important to keep in mind that there are a lot of different goals happening in the big boy race: some people are there perfectly content to just finish, and there are people there to do their jobs so they can eat. I think the former screaming at the latter is generally bonkers, especially when they were in the wrong.

Emotions get high during races 😅 Yeah, I got real banged up on race #1 in Belgium. Face super busted. Don't even remember the crash - woke up in an ambulance. 30 stitches. CT scan was good though so I'll be on the mend! Thankfully I am in a country with free healthcare too 🇧🇪🇧🇪
