Necrophos is very fun to play and passively does tremendous damage like phoenix. I like to use him specifically when I know I can be best used as a tanky frontliner who can also slow and zone targets.
Necrophos to me excels not at doing damage but being more of a nuisance.
In this game I build him the way I enjoy playing him as a dense frontliner that also does damage.
