The Turkey Leg Hut | World Famous Stuffed Turkey Legs (Texas Country Reporter) 

This place has been on my bucket list for years.

I miss Turkey Leg Hut so much. I used to live a few houses behind there and had to visit at least once a week. It was like god was testing me every time I came home and smell those smokers. The stuffed leg and shrimp alfredo legs were my go-tos. Lynn and Nakia are some of the sweetest people I've ever interacted with at a restaurant and they really care about their customer's experience. Sometimes I wonder if it was a mistake to move away to Florida for a promotion, and Turkey Leg Hut is one of the primary reasons why. It is that good. I miss Houston and can't wait for the day I come back home. I need to try all the other options that they added onto their menu.

When a Man has a Good Wife and they are a TEAM... and working to do GOOD and BLESS others... than this is what happens... that food looks incredibly delicious and it is easy to see why they are successful!!! God bless Texas!

I'm glad to see its still open! We've been there a few times before. After the $2,000,000 in various lawsuits started to come out, I wasnt sure what would happen. We always get the stuffed boudin and the mac and cheese. It's pricey but it's always lunch, dinner, and lunch for us so your dollar really stretches out.

There's a video on RU-vid where some people were on vacation they rented a Mercedes SUV had all of their luggage and everything else in the SUV went to TLH came back out to leave and someone had broke the back of the window and took everything that was in the car . If u go their don't leave anything of value in the car and lock all of your doors.

I never like turkey legs. I've made them for other people, and never ate them. I had one of their turkey legs and OMG they are so good! I would love to actually go their and have one of those stuffed legs.

I tried a turkey legs from a Soul Food restaurant near me and I was so disappointed. I’m from Texas and we always have turkey legs from football games to the county fair.

$20 and up for a large bone. But that can be said for a t bone also.

I love the Turkey Leg Hut always great food and fellowship.

The City of Houston health department closed this place down for 35 health code violations on site.

Because of several delays and those last minute boarding gate mix-ups at Bush Intl. I promised myself to no longer book flights that have me change planes in Houston. BUT NOW... After seeing what they are workin' with at the Turkey Leg Hut, I might welcome a three or four hour delay.

Never been to Texas but we been making these at home like that for years seasoning and a rubbed in soft butter the wrapped in foil after they’re smoked and they shake right off the bone. Don’t know about stuffing but that’s how you do the legs

My first time eating there the Turkey Leg and Rice was so very delicious. It is worth the visit if you ever in Houston, TX. The parking can be challenging so I just paid the money around $10 to park.

i cook for a living almost 20 yrs now. i respect what they doing and i love turkey legs but i don't want my turkey leg meat falling off the bone when i pick it up. i cook mine tender but i can still hold it and get a clean textured bite. not tuff like fair turkey legs but a bit more tende. same thing with beef roast i dont want it shredded or anything like that

This place is not cheap. $16.49 for a plain turkeyleg-no stuffing up to $38.49 each for the ones with seafood.

I live 15 minutes away from turkey hut, one leg was 30$ it was the most overrated leg I had ever had. There any good restaurants in houston yes but this one doesn't always hit

they spent all that money on cars and jewelry and didn't invest back into there restaurant or pay there venders invoices now 35 food safety violations and there bankrupt out of business glad i never ate at thi place
