Well don't cry "save your tears for another day" as the song says, because we are facing another genocide and its not going to be like Arcakh this one will have more dead children so no one can hide the facts like in Arcakh

Thanks dear Mr. Hacopian for the amazing interview with Mr Aktar. It was touching to hear about elder Alewi's admission about the the changes they experienced. About a decade ago my mother, who's 91 now, and who was born in Alexandretta - Iskenderun now, visited the neighborhood/ the house where she was born . The property was not maintained, the roof partly collapsed, the vast orchards around dead and gone.. An old lady came out of the barn, had a talk with my mom, hugged her with tears, and told her " Sizden sonra bereket kalmdi, bag bahceler col oldu," ,,,, After you (left) there was no prosperity left, fields and gardens turned into desert... Special thanks to Mr Aktar, looking forward to get and read his book.

Thank you very much. Thanks to people like Cengiz Aktar, Taner Akcam, Orhan Pamuk, Elif Shafak, at least they started talking about the Armenian genocide in Turkey, at least they started restoring some of our churches and recognising our heritage...deepest gratitude to them

It is a shame that there can not be an open debate in Turkey. Anyone who even uses the words THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE is suspect and can end up in a Turkish court.

"These young turkish people of good will" I am sure they exist. However, I have never encountered them in the comment sections. The ones I have read their comments are either the denialists, or those who say "we will do it again."
@HB7c
@HB7c 14 дней назад
That’s probably because they’re scholarly intellectuals like Mr Aktar who wouldn’t come on RU-vid videos like this and make nonsensical and derogatory comments. I’ve yet to encounter them myself but this is my theory.

@@HB7cI was making an observation. These commenters and their comments are mean and ugly. I understand turkish social media commenters do not represent the whole Turkish population. You do not have to be a scholar to see and admit the truth.

Islam is the religion of peace they say. Let’s hear out the prophet, and see if he ever talked about ter roar? Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been helped by terror; I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand. I'm sure this "immigration expert" from UN who could only gather 32 thousand signatures for his pursuits is the perfect person to ask questions about Turkey. His deep knowledge about the fabric of our society must be the reason why he can't exist among the other genocide accepters in the political sphere. 🤣🤣

@@davidcarson4695 There was no Ottoman Empire at the time. However Russians were powerful. Russians and France armed Armenian groups to terrorise the region. After all the Turkish men summoned to army they start genociding Turks. You faced so many armenian propaganda you have no idea what really happened here and why Turkish people would never accept such one sided think.
