@@heyguysiguessthatsit438your so right the music today’s shit lol .I was born in the sixties ,1965 just love all these oldies nothing comes close Best wishes Deborah 😊
Absolutely great music. At the age of 66 still listening to this song regularly. That means I've been listening to "Happy Together" for more than 50 years! Just cannot help myself!!
I was 6 years old when I first heard this song ... I'm turning 59, Jan. 14th, and I'm listening to all my favorite jams from 60, 70 and 80's tonight... A HAPPY place where I feel 25 forever!
A timeless masterpiece for a bygone epoch with rebellion, imagination and fantasy.Nothing can bring back memories better, than a song which he was once connected with.
The Turtles had masterful harmonizing, a late 60s music trait that is mostly lost in current pop. The Turtles also had such a great sense of humor and their music was so original! Lead singers Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman went on to be much in-demand session singers as Flo & Eddie, never losing their sense of comedy and their talented vocal skills. I love this song and video! Thanks for posting it!
They did the backing vocals for Marc Bolan in his T Rex glamrock period as well. It was a hit when I was 13- still love it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z30zu-HLjbs.html
Que música tan linda yo tenía 14 años estudiaba secundaria cuando mis amigas y yo bailabamos la música de los 60 y nos gustaban mucho The Tourtles gracias por tantos recuerdos saludos desde México
Time disappears back to the 69s era because we were given a great choice of diverse music all of which was the very best ,,im 76 i feel the same as you lolxx
Good song and representative of those times when the electronic gimmicks that make anyone sound good, did not exist. Singers really had to have talent in those days. And it is a pleasant love song, which is still so Great to listen and enjoy.
@@ms.coleman8403 Rubbish... You had families and fathers back then.... you don't anymore. Black liberation theology didn't work out so hot did it? Marxism never does.
I really wish today's music had this much substance, you can just feel the soul and passion put into this song, something I can't feel in a lot of today's music.
Mark Volman and Zal Yanofsky (RIP) epitomized the fun energy that was so very special in the 1960s.

I saw a couple of performance clips where Zol ripped the glasses of John Sebastians face and he as rendered blind as a bat and literally had to stand in one place on stage because he couldn’t see. I was laughing hysterically at this site.
This is one of my favorite song of all-time and The Turtles do a wonderful job of playing and singing this wonderful timeless classic. This tv show needs to be put on DVD so people can buy this timeless classic show so we can enjoy this wonderful show.
Made a posting on another video of this song. just full of memories for me personally, and no other song comes close. Montreal November 1966 is carved into my memory bank like no other. 80 years old and on the other side of the World today. Happy to remember saying good bye to a lovely 20 year old girl on a cold winters day at Montreal Station, making plans to meet up again and visit her again from Toronto. Chat we did on the phone many times with this song playing in the background weeks turned into Months he calls less frequent and life takes a different turn, ships passing in the night of course and fade out of sight. The memories flood back every time I hear this song and shall never fade. Just remember with fondness and yes demonise as to what might have been. God bless all of you.
My son says one of his memories about me was when this song came on when we were in the car, (played the oldies station) I would really transform and sing my heart out. O.K.!!
It's an awesome song! It's like the soundtrack of my life. I remember my older siblings playing many Turtles songs and singing along with the harmonies, back when artists could actually carry a tune!
Thank you Turtles for "our" song since 1967 it has always been #1 with us. We were married in 1969 and still going strong. Best wishes to all the couples that feel the same way.
@@OniLordMiki I doubt very seriously that I would be getting drafted being a 60's "kid" considering that I wasn't 18 until 1982, they didn't draft people then.
31/12/2022. Terminando o ano no Brasil. Ouvindo essas canções que fizeram parte de minha juventude. São tantas lembranças de minha casa cheia de meus parentes, meu pai amado hoje no céu e tantos outros que se foram Só lembranças. Adoro essas músicas
