The Twenty Largest Barangays in Zamboanga Peninsula by Land Area 

Out of the 1,904 barangays in the region, Barangay Linay in Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte is the largest in terms of land area. With approximately 223.0336 square kilometers of land, it extends its reach across nearly half of the entire municipality of Baliguian. Barangay Linay also holds a remarkable distinction in terms of land area. It is almost the same size as the city of Isabela in Basilan with a land area of only 225.82 square kilometers and slightly larger than city of Dapitan in Zamboanga Del Norte with a land area of only 220.26 square kilometers.
Meanwhile, nestled in Isabela City, Basilan, lies the barangay of Kaumpurnah Zone III, with a land area of only 0.029 square kilometers, it holds the distinction of being the smallest barangay in the region in terms of land area. Despite its compact size, this barangay is home to a close-knit community and a rich cultural heritage.
