Here’s the magical part: most mamas don’t get to kiss their babies at 32 weeks ish, so think of her first kiss as super duper early too ❤️, which means she actually will get more kisses than babies born at their due dates! ☺️🤓

you can tell colleen is such a great mom and how much time she dedicates towards all her babies. theyre so lucky to have a great momma. ive been following her journey since her last relationship and she has grown so much and changed so much for the better. im so proud of colleen and her adorable family. shes helped me so much and her videos give me so much joy everyday :)

Being a nicu-parent must be hard enough on its own, and seeing how she still manages to have so much energy for Flynn and being there for him is incredible. Even if this was just a one time thing, its still absolutely amazing! She was born to be a mom!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Colleen was pregnant with twins and vlogged every single day,brought us through the good and bad days made us laugh and cry with her and now she just got out of the hospital from having an emergency C-section and she is still vlogging every day. She is one of the strongest mama's out there. I'm just so greatful that the babies are safe at the NICU and though it might be hard Colleen, you are going to get to take them home soon.❤️

Hey fun fact: My sister was born at 30 weeks and weighed 3 pounds and the only clothes my mom found that fit her were the cabbage patch kids dolls outfits! Everyone in the NICU was so impressed she found something that fit her lol Look into them they’re so cute and tiny❤️

My cousin was like that she was smaller than a man's average sized hand so we found doll clothes for her and its fits pretty goot and it has the velcro so you can adjust the size

When you were holding the twins and they held each other’s hands, while both of them had their heads leaned towards each other while resting on your chest, my heart completely melted. In the NICU - when twin babies are stable enough....we will often put them in the same isolette or 'warmer'. The babies gravitate to one another, and naturally want to be touching. We can have babies really stressed independently; but, when put together....more often than not....they are immediately soothed when they can touch and smell their sibling. It's SO awesome to see! 💜

NICU RELATED COMMENT: I wrote this in your main channel but my nephew was 23weeks (1lb5oz). When he finally got to leave the nicu we got him a graduation robe and cap from build a bear. 10/10 recommend doing this. They fit perfectly.

I can’t imagine the pain mothers of extremely early preemies go through, they often stay in the NICU for several months and well past their due date. Their parents are unbelievably strong and amazing.

tbh, i don't really have time to keep up with daily vlogs but I started watching daily again because I wanted to be sure the twins were okay and stuff. Tiny Tortilla Talk Question: Does Flynn get upset when you and Erik go to visit the twins without him, if so how do you explain why he can´t come. P.S. I love how you are trying to give as much attention to Flynn as possible, and I am so glad that the twins will grow up in such a loving home where they will both get so much love and attention. I’m not sure about the hospital she went to or anything, but at the hospital I work at kids under 16 aren’t allowed to come in unless they’re parents, I’m pretty sure it’s a Covid related thing!

@@sydneyuchiha8062 Where I live it’s also a flu regulation! During flu season, children under 16 can’t come in to the hospital to visit patients because they are more likely to carry the flu virus or a cold and could potentially endanger someone on the floor (even if they’re vaccinated)

Oh gosh, so small. But, my son was born less than two weeks early at a healthy weight and was only about 2 pounds heavier than them. They can definitely get there!

I was born 6 weeks premature and I had a conversation with my mom today about how it was being a NICU mama. She told me how hard it was going home without me, and how she went back to work and would visit me on her lunches. She wanted to send her love and say that you will get through it and it will be so amazing when you finally get to bring two healthy babies home. You and Eric are so strong. 🧡🧡

Well yeah he needs attention, but it's easy for parents with newborns to over focus on the new borns. Colleen and Eric are doing a great job at making Flynn still feel special and helping him connect to his new siblings

Can I just say how amazing Erik is being through all of this? He is the ultimate support partner. Erik, thank you so so much for taking such amazing care of Colleen and Flynn through all of these adventures. Some are happy and some are sad but you always are there for them through these adventures y'all are going on. You are doing amazing and I just wanted you to hear it.💜💜💜

I mean of course he’s a great dad but that’s literally what he’s supposed to be doing. He’s supposed to support his wife the same way she supports him and is supposed to be there for is son just as much as she is. I know we tend to have very low expectations towards men because many don’t exceed them but Erik being amazing is supposed to be the basic standard everyone should aspire to. ❤️

He wouldn't UNDERSTAND why. He is only 2 and even at 3 He still wouldn't fully Understand why they not home. They will have to explain when he gets older. I know because I'm a Mother of toddlers they dont UNDERSTAND things like that.

Toddlers are smarter than some people believe. It's definitely a hard topic to comprehend when Flynn can't physically be in the environment, but using pictures and videos, making simple stories to explain where babies are, where mommy and daddy go when they leave to see them, having activities he can participate in like making pictures to put on their NICU beds and showing him that they brought them to the babies... toddlers tend to ask the same questions over and over to come to an understanding but they can grasp things like this in their own way.

I actually think this is a great question. Because Flynn knows the babies are born, but maybe he is actually wondering why they aren’t home with him and his parents? You never know what goes on in a toddlers curious mind.
