6v6디닝 no. Tablo was honest with Haru. He told his daughter the bird died and went to heaven. Hwijae told his sons the octopuses went away with their parents.

Oh god I felt like crying watching this, not bc of the fact that the octopuses died, but bc the twins were so excited to see they were still alive and they ready to care for them and love them. But once they realized the octopuses were gone, that accepted the reality and held in their tears. SUCH PRECIOUS BABIES.

I watched the twins since they were born till now. Seojun is not cry baby, he rarely cry or feel sad bcs he's really positive and outgoing kid. If finally he take a moment of silent and burst to tears, he must be hurt and really sad inside :(

I still remember when everyone criticised Hwijae's parenting skills and how he "favors" Seoeon over Seojun. I could already see back thrn he is a great dad and was furious at all those false accusation and prejudices. But I'm glad now everyone looks up to Hwijae and loves him as a father as well as his sons.

Hwijae just experienced the pain that so many parents feel over having to figure out how to tell their children their pets have died... I think he let Seojun and Seoeon down very gently and preserved their innocence as best as he could. But poor Doldol and King Octopus, and poor Seojun and Seoeon! :( I've never been so sorrowful over the death of octopi, may they rest in peace.

their sadness made me cry "( this is why kids are so innocent i'm sure their dad's heart broke a little too seeing them so sad the way seojun was trying to contain himself in the end made me tear "( these variety shows make me like korea they show such real things without made up dialogues and antiques, we don't have any such show in our country neither have i heard of them in others KBS i must say u r doing a good job :)

The reason why they died is that they were used to the water the fish man gave them but when they moved the organs aren't getting used to the new water temperature and saltiness, but it's not their fault anyone couldve made that mistake, and now after typing this comment I'm crying a waterfall of tears

I cried its so touching 😭😭 I watch this scene over and over and over again and I always end up crying 😭 I can't .. just look at Seojun's expression .. he loves ddoldol so much but the octopus was died .. huhuhuu feels like I wanna hold him and cheer him up 😢

I wish I had a dad like Hwijae, my father would've eaten them in front of me just to make fun of me. But why did they die so quickly? Was it because the oxygen generator or the wrong temperature?

Elisa Risconti I think it's because they were out of an ideal environment for too long. They were stuck in a plastic box with too little water and not enough oxygen in the middle of winter. And they were stuck in a plastic bag in a shipping container for who knows how long before that. I guess it was just too much for them. :(

Elisa Risconti Sea creatures are actually quite hard to take care of. You can't just throw in a bunch of sea water in a tank without anything inside that tank that does not replicate the ocean environment. You have to maintain the ph level, keep their temperature at a certain level, have a certain gallon tank and environment so they can live in, etc, etc.. they must have been in that small plastic container with that low level of water and I believe packaged to be meant to be eaten, that they just couldn't survive. Also since they were caught directly from the ocean, wild animals can't survive long in captivity. For the tank, you have to set it up a few weeks prior to getting the sea creature so that the tank itself can cycle. Sorry for this long comment, just trying to tell you some of my knowledge from memory that I learned from a RU-vidr who actually takes care of some sea creatures. :) (just if you wanted to know, it's Taylor Dean and she has quite a bit of knowledge of animals)

Abigail Ko exactly right...saltwater tanks are much harder to take care of than freshwater tanks...most pets stores will have you bring in a cupful of your aquarium water so they can test the ph levels and then you gotta wait some weeks before you get to actually add your fish..hope they try again...maybe they could get someone from a pet store to help set up an awesome tank for them.☺

As sad it is for the kids i am more sad for the octopus. Yes I am a fishkeeper and they way the tank was setup was poor. Of course the octopus will die every fishkeepers knows that you have to cycle the tank, need a filter, a heater and a proper tank for octopus before you actually put it in the tank. I am not judging anyone it's just common mistakes for beginners, so it's understandable but yes i was sad, seeing how the tank was setup immediately i know the very next day it will die.

Hwijae was so sweet. I think what made him say that they went away to go back home vs saying that they died is that the twins really tried hard to make sure their octopus survived. After all that, and seeing their octopus still die would have probably even sadder for them.
