when i was a wee boy and first saw my brother playing Rome: total war, i started dreaming of a Warhammer: Total war. This was 16 years ago. We've had it now for 4 1/2 years, and i still cant really wrap my head around it. I lost nothing of my excitement for the series. Some dreams do come true.

I can't even express how relieved I am that Sisters are the LL and not Ariel. It made so little sense for her to be a legendary lord it's not even funny (she is a demigod and even less of a fighter than Alarielle, who it barely made sense for to be a LL). I was afraid they'd bow to popular demand and make her the titular LL, but the way they did it was a healthy way to do it imo. I'd rather only have seen her show up in very few battles as a temporary summon, but being a legendary hero ala Lord Kroak is the next best thing and really speaks to CA for considering lore somewhat in their deliberations. Big props from me. Clan Moulder looks great as well! Now I just want more info on Drycha and hope that she brings some more tree units with her to expand that particular roster a bit.

The Skaven were already doing alright, I would have much preferred an expansion on the Norsca, Chaos or Beastmen.

Please CA, will you put those fantastic songs from trailers into base game as battle music for those factions? They are fantastic and base game music starts to be stereotype afters hundreds of hours. I just have nostalgic reminder of battle music from Medieval II of Rome, those were so great!

Check the purple in the background at 1:02 and 0:59 Looks like the forest spirits under Drychas control, and at 0:59 that might be Coedill. Durthus brother who was banished to the deep woods. Its definately too big to be Drycha 1:00 might even represent Coedills prison in the deep woods. That purple its emitting looks exactly like whats covering Drycha and her forest spirits.

Just like the Chaos gods, CA continues to ignore the beastmen. How fitting.
