This is not a parcours for Remco. Too much up and down. There are so many dangerous corners for the riders to take. Much comes down to explosiveness and recovering from this and bike handling skills. Pog vs VDP. Mads Pedersen as the big outsider. This is a course for the strong guys who can climb, are explosive, have fast recovery and are very skilled on the bike. Too bad Wout is not there, this parcours would have suited him very well

Remco is a puncheur (see his 2 victories in lbl). This parcours suits him perfectly (more than vdp or Mads Pedersen).

Would love to see Tadej win the rainbow jersey, but it would be amazing if Remco could complete the “impossible four” (RR and TT olympic gold along w/ RR and TT world champ in the same year).
