Man so many awesome cards it hard to pick a favourite. But I probably would go with the 2013 finest Gold Max Auto. Awesome stuff bro, so cool you were able to connect Eric and Emmet together
The UK seems to have some pretty heavy hitters when it comes to collectors overall. Outside of cards, I know a few folks that hold some of the coldest fighter worn memorabilia. That being said, the sport and hobby is still very young. So expect the market to get growing and growing. Especially with Dana and the UFC marketing these cards. =)
I have talked to Eric (also in the Facebook Group he is a mod at) about that Maycee Barber RC 1/1! Damn that is a beauty! I wish I had the $ to get that from him, but yeah. Eric is THEE Cardfather for sure when it comes to UFC!!!!
@@doerstate Been a seller on eBay for about 10 years. I'm still in UFC cards, I just sold alot (most) of these cards in the video way way too soon. I've sold Him alot of cards over the years. He def has the best collection that I know of.
@@rickjones3965 got it. Well hopefully you still have a decent collection of your own. Eric’s collection is insane. Can’t wait to see all of it one day.
@@rickjones3965 I hear that. The way I see it is, profit is profit, so unless you sold at a loss back then… you made money. There’s no way you could have known which fighters on the roster would go on to be legends.
I believe I asked him that question off camera too and he mentioned most is purchased off the secondary market BUT he has hit a few himself over the years. I personally have never hit a 1 of 1.
That’s not an unfair take honestly. He’s owned many of these for so long that there’s definitely a personal connection he has to them. That being said; he’s testing the market on whatnot for some of his cards through auctions so market will ultimately dictate what these cards are worth. Thanks for watching!
@@doerstate yeah I mean a lot of his cards were 1/1 or very rare so you’re right, it’s hard to comp so when he does go to sell we will see what they are worth. I was just looking at the sticker prices he had on other ones and I’ve seen them sell for way less. Not a big deal though as you can always negotiate down. All that being said, what an awesome collection! I’m very jealous of almost all of those cards he has. I’ve never even seen some of them before and I’ve been in the UFC card game from the beginning. Thanks for making this video and showing everyone! Great job!
@@Saladman100 I just had The Card Fathers buddy MMM Cardboard come by my studio for an in person episode of his massive collection. His 1-1 collection is wild! Release date of the episode TBD but it will be sick! Fan fav for sure.
