I’m beginning to think these mma RU-vidrs are scared to talk against Strickland because they don’t want their fans to turn against them. Strickland only had 1 entertaining press conference (the Alex fight) his other 2 press conferences wasn’t great, what’s worse was that he even got bullied because f**king DDP in his last press conferences

In my book Trash Talking is just useless, the most important thing is bagging in the results in the octagon. Now you guys will say Trash Talking is important for PPV buys, promition and media. This is what will ruin the sport in the future, it will end up being WWE-like, UFC should be about purely fighting.and getting resullts, talking, media, and entertainmemt is luxury. That's why Demetrious Johnson is GOAT'd.
DJ is the goat, but he was never a big draw even though he was a dominant champ. Another thing is that he fought at flyweight which isnt a popular division in the ufc. It sucks but you need the promotion and media to brings eyes to the fighters and also the fights themselves are entertainment. You can't have one without the other
He's insanely charismatic but the only time his trash talk was genuinely great was the 276 press conference. Sean is way better at saying random shit about society in general then trashtalking a fighter's ability in the cage

@@dhiaab3435 The only thing that holds him back is the way he crumbles when he's genuinely offended or has nothing to say (which happens rarely so I gotta give credit there). He needs to get better at hiding how much the dad stuff gets to him by laughing it off or just responding quickly. Seeing how he reacted in the 2024 seasonal press conference where Dricus brought up the child abuse lowkey ruined his aura a little bit for me
For us Sean Conor, but the real trash talker is DDP. that guy is so smooth and he can get into every one nerve. You can compre DDP with Cruz, when you hear Cruz you will feel like WTF .

Conor may have some rehearsed stuff but a lot of his all time stuff and the stuff that’s made it into gifs/memes was “on the spot” Such as “who the fook is that guy?!?!” , “I’d like to take this chance to apologize…TO ABSOLUTELY NOBODY”, “No, no, no, no, no…we can do better than that”, etc etc etc
Honestly colby should be C at the highest. Most of what he says doesnt make sense and he also stutters through every line. Hes annoying but not devastating
See yeah, would dock Colby alot due to the fact that I remember back early in his career where for years he was your typical "respectful" fighter, but cuz he was so flat in terms of personality, and in terms of being a ridiculously boring fighter - he didn't gain any fan support or big fights. It was until then that he then took on this persona that's nothing but a lame caricature, it's embarrassingly pathetic imo. I've never taken him to be the slightest intimidating, (along with being obviously dumber than a box of rocks, but neither here nor there), i legit dunno how/why anyone takes him seriously. That's why i like people like Strickland so much more.
O’Malley lost against Yan in trash talk before he spoke any English and has no quotables, why isn’t he D tier. Also Dominic is better than Jones at trash talk.
jones is not S tier....colby is cringe af with his 5 year old voice...dricus belongs in A/B tier, he has good comebacks and made strickland cry like a bitch.....leon doesn't trash talk, he should be in D tier....izzy has both good lines and cringe lines, so I guess B is justified
Colby's trash talk hasn't been good since usman 2. Now all his dialogue is stolen from guru's comment section. Cruz is S tier, absolutely hilarious and original dialogue. Strickland is too high. Like Colby everything Sean said about Izzy was said by guru 2 months ago. Unoriginal dialogue, kind of dialogue you hear in comment sections by 15 year olds. Strickland is C tier at best. You see 1 Strickland press conference you've seen them all, very repetitive. DDP's gotta be A tier. Original dialogue, it is corny but fans really ate up the "who's more African storyline."
