The British people are not "the far right" - we are the working class who built the UK, we are decent, normal sane people, the vast majority and we are SICK of being branded as extremists by extremists.
Word things better then, because all we see are no teethed British people with tattoos shouting out all immigrants. That to me and many is far-right. Britain needs to learn its true status in this World and soon. That status to me is the equivalent to dredged up mud from the Thames.
That makes absolutely no sense. You’re going to live in a country that you don’t speak the language you have no connection you’re just looking for benefits.
Same here in America inflation is high and everything is expensive... million of million entering America illegally has cause this problem too! food, rent, gas... and more..
Officials should first be responsible to the people, rather than putting the burden on the people for the sake of political correctness and their own reputation. I'm afraid this riot is not about race or belief, but about the self-impressions of British politicians.
I like how you racist far right losers think your group is made up of prime Shwarzenegger . There is no difference between you and a soy far left liberal
Exactly. And who benefits by mass immigration and the inevitable blowback of it? Both are true and the nuances to this problem is lacking throughout these comments
@@ramesh6758 Laughable argument, I have a white friend here in Texas, U.S. who's slowly dying from ill health. His father died of cancer two years ago, and his can barely walk and can't get proper medical care. He blames Mexicans for taking all the medical care and jobs, yet among all my friends, he screams the loudest advocating for support of Israel and Ukraine. There's no talking point from Fox News he doesn't support, from the invasion of Venezuela to sending weapons to Taiwan. Anything liberal politicians proposed to ease the financial costs to the citizen, he calls evil-socialism. My conservative friend's sentiment echos through my Facebook and other social media platform from conservatives throughout America. I don't know about the U.K., but the biggest group of people who benefited from social services are poor whites, by a great number than most people can imagine.
Except it’s not immigrants, it’s poverty. They say it is immigrants because they are often poor… Giving them the blame gives cover to the neoliberalism that created so much poverty for English and foreigners…
Most of them have migration exceeding their population by 1 to 10 times in uae. Uae has a population of 1.5 million but 15 million foreigners. European immigration is not even 5% of the population.
Londonderry is in Northern Ireland, not on mainland Britain. You see, more ignorance. I do no longer have any respect for the UK and I believe the UK will get whacked soon by big powers.
You could also say, Arabs occupy Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco , Mauritania, Tchad , Burkina Faso and Niger. Decolonize these territories and get rid of Arab influence and religion. Bring back native language and culture. And most importantly , keep peace.
What do u mean by Far-Right They r Right only Before giving lectures to other countries Qatar should consider implementing Democracy in their own country
The west can never again lecture anyone about democracy and human rights. They don't exist. Gaza exposed that. What does exist are oligarchs and that's who are running governments especially in the US.
Labeling individuals as "far right" for expressing concerns about government policies related to undocumented immigration can have several effects, both on individuals and on broader societal discourse. Here are some potential consequences: 1. **Marginalization of Concerns**: When concerns about immigration policies are excessively labeled as "far right," it might marginalize legitimate worries that individuals may have about safety, economic stability, or community cohesion. This can discourage open dialogue and lead to the alienation of those who hold these views. 2. **Polarization**: Labeling people in such a manner can further polarize political discourse. It can create an "us vs. them" mentality, where individuals feel the need to defend their views more aggressively or retreat into echo chambers. This polarization can hinder productive discussion about immigration and related policies. 3. **Stigmatization**: Individuals who are labeled as "far right" may experience social stigmatization, potentially affecting their social relationships, employment opportunities, and mental health. This label can evoke feelings of shame or isolation, even if their concerns are not rooted in extremist ideology. 4. **Radicalization Risk**: If individuals feel their concerns are dismissed or ridiculed, there is a risk that they might gravitate toward more extreme ideologies or groups that echo their sentiments, potentially leading to radicalization. This can further entrench divisions in society. 5. **Impact on Policy Debates**: The use of labels can stifle nuance in policy discussions. By categorizing concerns about immigration as strictly far-right, policymakers and society may overlook valid points or suggestions for reform that could address risks associated with both documented and undocumented immigration. 6. **Empathy Deficiency**: Labeling can create a lack of empathy for the fears and anxieties of others. A more nuanced approach, which recognizes a spectrum of concerns about immigration-from economic impacts to security-might foster a more compassionate and constructive dialogue. 7. **Challenge for Moderates**: Individuals with moderate views on immigration who may not fully align with either extreme may feel compelled to choose sides. This can lead to a dilution of moderate voices, which can contribute to further polarization. 8. **Effects on Political Engagement**: Concerns about being labeled can hinder political engagement. Some individuals may refrain from discussing their beliefs or participating in civic activism due to fear of backlash or being misunderstood. Given these potential effects, it’s essential for discourse on such sensitive topics to remain respectful, nuanced, and open to a variety of perspectives. Constructive dialogue that acknowledges fears and concerns while also promoting understanding and empathy can be more beneficial in addressing complex issues like immigration.
it's almost like AJ picked the worst possible people to interview. but picked a pillar of the other groups community, the group that AJ just so happens too sympathies with. strange. well. no reason to ponder it anymore.
When I mention the housing market you pro immigration idiots get really quiet and try to censor. Idealism isn’t going to change the fact the UK is giving away homes to non citezens over its own and that type of discrepancy calling people racists will keep people quiet until a civil war breaks out all at once as people realize this was a terrible mistake looking at rent costs.
It's insane to see the problem in the working class people and poor people and say nothing to the real problem rich class like Elon musk.blackrock etc etc
The UK has had a huge drop in living standards as 14 years of Tory austerity and theft bites. British people have been saturated in anti-immigrant propaganda for several decades thanks to Murdoch, so the anger is redirected from the ruling class to Muslim and migrant workers. Not all British people are racist and xenophobic.
Don't blame Tory governments - global pressures have led to recent economic decline in developed countries. Murdoch is not to blame for attitudes towards immigration in the last 20 years - it's the lack of government planning which has led to a strain on the infrastructure in areas where migrants/refugees have settled. You seem to have swallowed trite theories about British society which have no bearing on the actual lives of those affected by recent events.
@edelgyn2699 'Don't blame Tory governments', you say!? What are you smoking!? In all seriousnes during those 14 years of austerity there was the disastrous decision to leave the EU. Then there was the pandemic where Tory corruption and theft was like nothing anybody had seen before in the UK at least. It was in the billions. Following that there was Truss's disastrous mini budget that knocked a £60 billion pound hole into the economy which resulted in rent increases and mortgages increases. If you do not understand the significance of these failings it suggests you are the one that is falling for trite theories perhaps out of a lack of education (which is understandable and not your fault) or you are just an ideologue. I'm actually from the UK. I grew up reading 'The Sun' so I'm well aware of its content and the sway it's headlines have on the population. The strain on infrastructure has been mostly from the Tories failing to invest anything in the country. It was slash and cut and slash and cut all to gift their wealthy donors tax breaks. They left nothing but scorched earth after leaving office.

It's always easier to blame someone then to accept the reality of how useless one are. If one can offer a better service with quality and comes with less troubles then a migrant, who would want them at the 1st place? cheap is not the answer for running a business.
Why work? The great British Empire is a rich capitalist country. People should be given money to sleep during the day and go to the bar at night. US should give money to UK
My parents came to this country with little or no English and no money (well a little).. They found it difficult but worked hard despite the racism and few opportunities. They worked for themselves and set up their own business and did ok. They encouraged us to study and work hard. As a result we contribute to the economy. Whereas these right wing thugs have the advantages we didn’t have. They speak the language, don’t face racism but still don’t make best of the opportunities available. Yet they blame the immigrants. Laziness and lack of ambition and lack of work ethic is what they should be blaming.
the problem isn't immigrants but mass migration, basically everyone I know and even a few immigrants seem to have the same sentiment, the issue is the government letting EVERYONE in meaning the violent minority can get in easily, then they behave with impunity because just like in Rotheram the authorities are too spineless to act for fear of being called "racist". We should absolutely let immigrants in as long as they are vetted properly, It's only a small minority that are daft enough to say "no foreigners at all", that's a very immature perspective to have, it's all about scale here. People have been arrested for merely pointing out the statistics when it comes to the amount of migrants coming in and what implications that will have upon the native population, the politicized police force and authoritarian anti-free speech government both need to go! But of course myself and most people I know are all "far-right" according to the media now, thanks guys!
Not fit enough to work but fit enough to play game of darts and spend day in a pub classic . I'm from hull and a migrant who came here settled down 17 years . I am a diabetic with dialysis treatment ongoing I am working and still refuse for a govt handout . Grow up buddy
The British people are currently still nostalgic for their past hegemony so they forget about productivity in improving the country's economy. Their former colony is on the rise but they are still walking in place. This is karma from colonial countries in the past
First, all illegal immigrants get benefits and they get a lot, do you live in a cave? They are staying in nice hotels all expenses paid healthcare everything. And second Are you saying you disagree with generational wealth? If your argument is their ancestors stole it, I have terrible news for you about the Arabs and their colonial history.
He gets more support than most people in the world. He needs to roll up his sleeves and work for a living along with paying taxes. Just another whining individual expecting the world to provide a living.
Far right thats throwing people in jail for thoughts and words, dont get me wrong those who riot put them prison. but being put in jail for being a morion is at bit much.
If you listen to what most people are saying, they're annoyed at the government, not immigrants. Most seem to agree that immigration is an ok thing as long as it's kept under control, is done legally and integration is ensured to avoid cultural conflicts. You may disagree with these points and thats fine but dismissing them offhand as "far-right" or "racist" is extremely ignorant. I think the violence and vandalism we saw in the riots was unjustified but the anger driving a lot of these people is understandable. You ignore people for long enough, they're going to look for more extreme ways to be heard.
@@GaryBartley-g6e data is wonderful it proves stuff. don't believe what you hear do your own research and if you choose to say stupid stuff on a public record be prepared for questions and to be challenged for proof. I fully expect you voted brexit simply because you thought it would halt immigration - because someone said it would.
i need an arabic country to legalise marijuana and im moving there, every thought i have or issue i have that british main stream media fails to pick up on and represent, Al Jazeera is always educating the world with the right kind of news, long live Al Jazeera
