@@aeroforce100 I also can afford a $120k Skeeter but choose to buy a Nitro Z18 instead. And part of the reason I CAN afford one is that I haven't wasted my hard earned money over the years on frivolous things when there is a perfectly good alternative that's 10% of the cost

I made one very similar, but used a conduit hanger clamp and a piece of 1/4" u-shape aluminum. It will fold up and down.

Great tip! I would love to hear if anyone has a tip for making a cheap trolling motor wedge to tilt your FFS up more to the surface. Someone has to have the juice on this. I cannot pay $200 for a piece of abs plastic from One of the marine accessory stores.
