I’ve been very depressed lately, and I would say even suicidal. Harry Potter is my favorite thing in the world and finding this made my day. It’s helped me feel a little less depressed, but I’ll still always be sad I can’t live a magical life like this.
I find hope in that our spirits are eternal - after death we will continue on to chapter two of this life. The creator of the universe loves you, and all of us like we are his children.
I hope you are talking to someone about the feelings. It really helps. Depression has a habit of lying to us about what our reality and options are. Harry Potter was my go to when my folks died, and helped with sleep and anxiety. Hard to think clearly when you're too tired and anxious. I hope you have or get someone in your life that can help you see wonder in your world. 🙂
@@bjdefilippo447 My boyfriend loves Harry Potter and I actually introduced him to it. We have had a lot of time together, but right now we have to live in separate states and it’s really hard because I miss him and nobody else really understands me or what I like. I just come to youtube to find other people that love Harry Potter, or whatever else I’m feeling nostalgic about, because it makes me feel like I’m not alone. I just get the feeling there’s something more, like there’s a hole in my soul and I don’t know what can fill it, but I desperately need it.

I just found your channel tonight. What a godsend! I have chronic anxiety, intrusive (fear) thoughts, insomnia & often myoclonic jerksthat wake me immediately when I do manage to fall asleep. Listening to people with soothing voices read stories put an end to my sleep issues for years! I am anxious tonight & having trouble settling. He's really good. Great soothing, vocal tone, inventive writing, and an accent that reminds me of my mum and grandfather, now both passed, which warms my heart. I suspect, though, that he hasn't read all the books lately, or my memory is failing me, because he has kept Norbert as a male, when we found out (from Charlie, I think), that he is a she.
