This is it folks! I was finally able to capture all three 767 engine takeoff sounds on camera! We have the Pratt & Whitney 4000, the Rolls Royce RB-211 and the General Electric CF6-80! Now it's your turn to pick which sound is the best of the three! I expect to see a ton of comments as all three engines are awesome! May the best engine win!
Time stamps below for each engine if you need a second look!
Pratt & Whitney: 0:07
Rolls Royce: 1:35
General Electric: 3:03
Below are links to the full length videos of each takeoff:
Pratt & Whitney:
• Absolutely Fantastic B...
Rolls Royce:
• Awesome British Airway...
General Electric:
• Absolutely Phenomenal ...

For me they're all very close. In my opinion #1 unlike the 757 has RB-211 which I would only like as much as the PW4060 if it wasn't so rare, #2 PW4060 because it sounds just like a bigger PW2000, and #3 by not much is the CF-6. I think it's because it almost sounds identical to the PW4000 but doesn't have the cool spool up. I've been on a PW4060 equipped 767 and another that was possibly a CF-6 but I wouldn't remember and I've spotted countless RB-211 767s. I probably will end up on a CF-6 767 soon though.

This is actually a tough decision. The CF6's & PW4000s had the best spool ups. The RB211's screams full power goodness in your face and was the loudest out of all of them which is definitely good! This is a tough call. If i picked one. The slight edge goes to the RB211's. The order would be. 1. RB 211's-Epicness Level-(10/10) Spool Up-(9/10) Overall-(9.5/10) 2. GE CF6's-Epicness Level-(9.5/10) Spool Up-(9/10) Overall-(9.2/10) 3. PW 4000's-Epicness Level-(8.5/10) Spool Up-(9.5/10) Overall-(9/10) The best comparison video i've seen! Yes, but the CF6 sheared off and severed itself in mid flight. Pratt and Whitney on the other hand was the first powerhouse for the 747 and was almost always the most powerful for many planes and the most efficient.
