I'm coming to terms with the fact that these machines aren't what I thought they'd be. When we first heard about these "automation" machines, I thought things would be more... automatic? For example, with the gardener, I thought we'd just chuck in a thousand seeds and it would just keep processing them until it ran out and we'd collect the giant harvest. I personally don't have any use for any of them as they are, but I'm happy others are enjoying them!

They really missed the ball with the fact that we don’t get a buddy harvest bonus. The loss is just too substantial to justify using the machine for harvesting imo. I basically just use the machines for watering so I don’t have to remember all the time, but it’s low-key disappointing. The vaccum on the other hand- SO GOOD. Now I don’t have to worry about where I plant my trees since I don’t have to manually go and find every stray piece of wood lol

Thanks for making this video. I have only made the basic ancient cooker and the basic vacuum so far, just because I haven’t finished unlocking all the biomes in Eternity Isle. And I’ve seen how expensive the machines were going to be. I’m pretty disappointed with the ancient cooker because 10 meals isn’t that much for “bulk” cooking, especially when you have to wait to claim them and also spend MORE mist to use the machine. I’m glad to know the vacuum is actually worth it when you upgrade because right now I’ve been very disappointed that it only vacuums up night thorns or shards.. that confused me, and I wondered if I just didn’t place it in a good spot. It seems lame that it only vacuums one type of thing at level one, but I guess I’ll be upgrading to level 3 ‘cause that’s the kind of vacuum I was expecting and would like. I guess it makes sense level 1 wouldn’t have that or you wouldn’t need to upgrade 😆 I feel like the gardener I might only use for its digging function to be honest, with the vacuum nearby. I might let it do watering as well, and then just manually harvest so I can get the extra crops. Digging and watering has always been the parts of gardening that are the most tedious to me anyway, not the harvesting. I hope they improve the ancient cooker because unfortunately I feel like that one is the least worth your time, when like you said I can make more meals manually and without spending mist. It does suck though because that’s the one I looked forward to the most 😢 I’ll have to try making your beefed up berry salad, since basic berry salad is my go-to meal also. 🧐 ANYWAY, long comment I made… THANK YOU for making this video because it’s nice to know fully what each machine and its upgrade does, to help decide what’s worth it. 🎉

Thanks for another great tutorial! I've watched the Fae Farm ones. So helpful. I use the gardener only to water. I'm a miser and am still saving mist for more companions who help with mist. I thought they would do more considering other games with automated machines. AND the novelty of mining for mist has run out! So gone.

Ancient Machines really aren't all they're cracked up to be. It's not just the mist, do they really save you that much time?

Oh I was excited about the vacuum to pick up al the stupid clay and stick and stones. But I don't want it to pick up my flowers since I decorate with them. OR you just tell it what to pick up? For the gardener, I would use it just to plant and water.

I was afraid the vacuum would put out my fires in the Forgotten Lands. Someone told me it wouldn’t. I have been using it ever since. My valley looks cleaner and it makes me happy. I love the cooker but I don’t think I will use the gardeners because I already have holes

The only thing I find annoying with the vaccums is that it seems like there’s a limit for when the vaccums are active

I've had the worst luck with finding ancient cores. I have so much mist and other stuff. No ancient cores

The only ones i made were the cookers, the vacuum is a no no for me because of the pretty jems on eternity isle that are the replacements for night thorns and the pretty glass ones in glittering dunes that glow

I also only find when the vaccums are active because my basic vaccum down by scrooges store litterally picks up nothing lol

Its just too pretty for me to get rid of, I'm so extremely careful when I'm near the pretty jewels so i don't accidentally remove them

These machines are useless to me
