The fact that bruce made his bat symbol yellow is icing on the cake. Now every time i see batmam portrayed with a yellow bat symbol, im gonna assume he also has his zur en arrh personality

If this story made me realise anything, it's that batman should invest in a really good therapist with all the money he has 😂

I like it furthers that idea that if you see Batman with a big toothy cheery grin somethings wrong. It also connects to the idea of Batman originally when he debuted, how he'd kill people. Zur en arrh is that pure embodiment of that Batman mentality. It shows why Bruce needs those around him why he needs to remember to connect with his humanity, so he doesn't get lost in the persona and become Zur.

Really digging this art-style. Kinda wish this was used to create new "Golden/Silver Age" stories as fill-ins that are retellings of later, modern stories.

When this character first premiered in the current Batman run, I was taken aback because I felt as though I had heard of this version of Batman, but couldn’t figure out how or why This definitely gave a lot of context, great video and looking forward to new Batman videos as well

So Batman sees joker kill a room of people almost makes the right choice to prevent people from dying and let’s put a sight of relief when saving joker knowing he’s just gonna keep killing people giving him a reason to exist, like Batman Z has an end goal and a point to walk away Bruce doesn’t he desperately clings to the idea that he’s somehow different from the humans he beats up when In actually he’s apart of the problem
