Hey that was actually pretty watchable 😁 We skipped Mak because we did Kood and Chang this time (while waiting out the big storm down south in December), but having seen all the fun trails you found it looks very mountain-bike-y so I'm looking forward to giving it a good thrashing at some point. Some comments - 1. Never let your GF pour your beer 🙄😬😅 2. Mountain bikes are far and away the best way to see cool sh1t. There are usually some great local tracks through all the rubber plantations and when you can no longer bike it, then grab your boots and hike it. Scooters have limitations, which you were definitely pushing on this trip 😁 3. I don't want to sound preachy but I'm going to anyway - *please* wear your helmets on the scooter. I'm pretty sure no helmet invalidates your travel insurance, and I've seen some bad accidents and other vlogs where someone came a cropper. One on the Kata hill left a very attractive Italian girl with some deep cuts on her forehead that will leave unsightly scars, which would have been avoided if she had her helmet on 🙄😬 I've had past experience with what head injuries can do and it doesn't take much to ruin your life with a brain injury. So ..please. Yes Thais do it all the time, but that's partly the reason Thailand is #1 in the world for motorcycle deaths and injuries. Also you are setting an example to your subscribers, who may not be as competent or careful as you are.
That was a wasp that stung Tommy twice! Bees are more rounded in shape, and wasps more cylindrical, more elongated. Tommy, incredibly brave and stoical not to have immediately started howling in pain because those things hurt like nothing else!
Gosh it looks hot and I know it can be hard work scooting around, so well done for getting out there! Lovely view from your beach hut, something nice to come back to after a long day 🍹🍉🤗

Thanks friends! Yay, that’s so exciting, love scooter life (just not me driving haha) . That hornet sting was massive but the restaurant owner gave Tommy some miracle ointment that cleared it away within the hour. We immediately went to the supermarket and bought it for ourselves 😅.
Tommy...you need to buy Sammy a Harley Davidson motorcycle when you get home. You next videos can be called "The biker chick and little Tommy travels" enjoyed this vlog. Keep having fun.

How can you choose which beach to stay when you have so many options like that? You can't chill on one knowing there could be another paradise just around the corner, it would drive me nuts! 😅... Oh forgot to add - kudos for being honest about the rubbish on the beaches. So many vloggers, especially the overly excitable couples (no names but for the sake of this comment I'll call them... Shev and Dev 😅) paint a heavily edited version of everywhere they go to present some kind of unrealistic 'paradise' to their highly impressionable subscribers, when the reality is that *everywhere* we have been in Thailand there is rubbish. If every tourist/traveller picked up one piece of rubbish the problem would be solved. But they don't of course, so taking a plastic bag with you and doing a bit of a clean where possible is the best you can do. Along with hilighting the issue in your videos. Good work! 🙏

5:00 A big part of the trash is coming from the sea. I stayed in Koh Phangan and at 6 in the morning the beach was full of trash and the owner who cleaned up told me it's coming from the sea , there were also bottles with other languages as thai, which means the trash is coming with the water flow also from other countries. 😔
You did a good job on the video BUT drinking beer and driving your scooter? Did you think that one through to the end? Obviously not! Consider editing that part out.

@@SammyandTommy I mean I was the first(!) comment 😅 And yes, fair call - you *did* tell me to wait for this one! We're still on Lipe. Loving it. The diving is outstanding and ridiculously cheap. There are deserted islands in the national Park with beaches that I would argue are not only the nicest in Thailand but as nice as The Maldives as well. Great selection of bars and restaurants, fab snorkeling and swimming, fun people, great weather...It personally doesn't get any better for us 😁
