This would be an actual difficult quiz for Beatles fans if you took out all the consonants in the questions, gave only one second to answer, gave no multiple choice, and we have to hold our breath underwater the whole time.

If there are any Beatles fans then why not take the George Harrison guess the song test. See my latest up load from November 2022 to take the test. Budget George is on a walk and talk and he mentions titles that he’s sung in the Beatles and a few solo ones

I got 8 out of ten right. Did not know 700 hour album or who Saxie Sadie was. I'm 70 years old and was glued to the TV on February 9, 1964. I washed the grease out of my hair and cut straight bangs that night; I got sent to the school principal's office the next morning, told to comb my hair out of my eyes. Became a professional musician (bass guitar and guitar) still to this day!

I know, the influence these four had on our lives is truly amazing. I was just turning 7(b'day a few days later) on Feb 9, 1964 and remember every minute of that Ed Sullivan premier. Had older sisters and music loving parents, we all watched in awe and our lives were never the same!

Back in the day we used to just roll up at the door to see all the big stars. The Beatles, Stones, Little Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Del Shannon, Roy Orbison, Neil Sedaka, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, The Who, Bee Gees, David Bowie, all the Liverpool and Manchester groups and loads more. All within 10 miles of home. The furthest I went was 30 miles to Trentham Gardens to see the Beatles and that was a spur of the moment decision. Happy days never to return.

A valiant attempt. However, a truly difficult Beatles quiz would include questions more along these lines: No multiple choice. Answers below. 1. What is the only song credited Lennon/Harrison? 2. What was the working title for 'Tomorrow Never Knows'? 3. What do the cover of 'Revolver' & The Plastic Ono Band have in common? 4. What is the only song with different vocal takes used on the British & American versions? 5. Which of the Beatles does NOT play keyboards on Rubber Soul? 6. What was unique about the way Ringo played drums? 7. According to the other three, who was the one who NEVER screwed up in the studio? 8. What brand of Amps did they use? 9. Sgt. Pepper's was recorded on a machine with how many tracks? 10. What is the only song credited to all four? Extra Credit: John, Paul & George all owned Epiphone Casinos. Who owned the one with the Bigsby tail piece? 1. 'Cry for a Shadow', an instrumental on 'The Beatles with Tony Sheridan'. 2. Mark 1 3. Klaus Voorman. He drew the cover & was Bassist in the band. 4. Help! Capitol Records thought the original vocal sounded too gritty so used an alternate take. 5. George 6. Ringo is left-handed but plays a drum kit set up for right-handers. 7. Ringo 8. Vox, almost exclusively. Towards the end they tried other amps in the studio. 9. A 4 Track. Just think about that for a minute. 10. 'Flying', an instrumental on 'Magical Mystery Tour'. Extra Credit. No one is certain since there are pictures of all 3 playing it and it is known that the Casino Paul had at that time was a righty model that he strung upside down.

Pete Best was their first long term/permanent drummer, that is of course, until they met Ringo. But technically, their first ever drummer was Colin Hanton, when they were still The Quarrymen. They had many drummers, including Paul and Mike McCartney, but most of them only lasted a few months. Pete lasted the longest. I thought the quiz was going to have Colin Hanton as a possible answer.

Lennon was shot later that year right when Just like starting over and Woman and wathcing the wheels were taking off. During the Beatle hour on Sunday night on WHLM 106.5FM during that period of time the DJ, would give facts between songs. I listed to this show every week until I graduated high school. If you include the time they spent in January 69 for “Let it be”, that question has two valid answers. You asked “recording” and all that footage and jams actually they were. Some of those recordings are on 70s and 80s bootlegs, some were made available quite recently, many others are still shelved. They spent almost a full month in two different locations, playing, and jamming all the time. Add time they spent in the following months, until January 1970 when they completed “For you blue”. No one knows how many hours they spent in total, but it’s likely to be more than one thousand.

6/10 I went to a Beatles Concert in 1964, so I considered myself a Beatles Fan, but really I was always a Paul Fan, so only interested in him. So maybe that is why I scored so low!?

I got 9 out of 10 because I had no idea who Mia Farrow was. I have heard about it through a couple videos so I guess I just forgot cause I do remember someone mentioning her. I thought the first question was a trick question as not knowing if it would include the quarrymen drummer(or drummers if u include Macca) but I still forgot who was the Quarrymen drummer was so I answered Pete.

I always thought that John recorded revolution (on the White album) by himself, with the group re-recording it for the single ???

I guessed wrong on the 700 hour one, thinking that the double album The Beatles would win by default, but when you listen to some of those songs, you can see that it probably took half that time.

10 out of 10...actually 11 out of 10. The Beatles went to Rishikesh in February of 1968 not the summer of 1967. Back in the 90s my daughter who was then about twenty at the time went on a cruise and they had a nightly trivia game and my daughter was selected to play. The subject she drew was "The Beatles Trivia". The way the game went was you'd win $10 for every correct answer and would keep playing until you had an incorrect answer and the one at the end with the most money also won a bunch of other prizes. My daughter got up there and answered one hundred questions in a row without a miss. The emcee asked her how she knew all the answers and she said she didn't know how she knew but growing up with me as her father the answers all just jumped into her head. The next night they played a game where you had to sing the next line to a song and my daughter drew "1960s Motown" and again knocked it out of the park. The emcee asked..."Your father again?" and my daughter said:"No. My mother. My entire life Saturday mornings she'd do her housework and play old Motown". Parents have a lot more influence on their kids than they even realize.

I got 6 out 10. But then I didn't actually read the fan magazines. I cut out the pictures and taped them to my closet door. And of course played their records over and over. And watched all their movies. I loved their songs. But I didn't scream when I saw them or faint. I just rely loved their music.

Two points: 1.) Actually, before Pete Best, Paul would be the percussionist when the band was in-between drummers; technically making Sir Paul the group's original drummer. 2.) Ringo does not play the drums on "Love Me Do" as it's heard on the band's first album, "Please Please Me." George Martin hired studio musician Andy White to play drums on the song; Ringo was relegated to playing the tambourine on that tune. Look for the song version without the tambourine ("Past Masters" or "Rarities") to hear Ringo actually playing the drums.

Got 9 out of 10... I knew Dear Prudence was written by a woman at the Indian retreat but didn't know who Mia Farrow was. I also counted my Julia answer because I thought it was throwing off to Lennon's solo career smh

9 out of ten, I did not know what song was recorded by John alone. I knew between Mother and Julia, decided mother should have know it being a Beatles quiz it would have been the Beatles song, but I figured they might have some questions of the Beatles after the Break up. 8 of ten I knew without the hearing the multiple choice. I wasn't sure about Dear Prudence until I saw the name.

The solo Lennon question was a tricky one for me. Given the choices "Julia" and "mother," I got slightly confused because "Mother" was a song from Lennon's solo years. That threw me off a little bit.

I only got one wrong and that’s the 700 hours of material from sgt peppers which I didn’t know. I thought it was let it be cos i saw a documentary called the compleat Beatles where someone said that Phil Spector was brought in to go thru the miles and miles of tape that they had done. Awesome quiz though, i loved it. You should do one for Queen.

I can believe I've got 9/10, on some I didn't even had to wait for the options and in some I even knew the remarks. I missed the one about the song about Paul's death, even before the options I said "A day in the life!!" But since i didn't see it there I thought it could be Penny Lane because of the music video (you know all the references there), I forgot about all the "I buried Paul" thing. 😆
