I hope this helps out new players, these are things I sure wish I knew when I first started playing the game. Discord: discord.gg/fbPMnc8 Twitter: twitter.com/Gromek888 All builds I make through this series will be on exhibition for new players to get, listed throughout the video.
Gromek999 you where the one who got me to want to play this game. I got it about 3 months ago and I can say that although it is a bit of a grind, it's really fun. Keep up the good crossout content!
Another tip: always go for all steering wheels unless you are having severe tonnage problems, as it gives you a tighter turning circle, although beware, because on lighter, high speed craft, this will make it a little harder to manouever at very high speeds. Also, Gromek, nice touch including footage of you dying. It's important to note that it's unavoidable (weird thing to say, I know, but it helps make the game seem more accessible when an experienced player dies at a low tier of play).
This is just about one of the best produced instructional videos I have ever seen. Well done! All the info you need and the edit is super entertaining.
I wish I had seen a tutorial like this when I first started playing. I will apply some of these principles to my 10k power score builds. Great series Yo!
That was excellent, really enjoyed watching that even tho I am well into the game now - lots of good info in this. I try to cover fuel barrels early on with the wheels if possible - I know the barrels can take a few hits but it is extra protection for them so that they cannot be directly targetted. I know you are a really experienced player so this is more aimed at the new players your video is aimed at - will defo be watching part 2 :))
Man, now I want a game like crossout/robocraft/etc but with besiege-style physics. Instead of hovers, you have to make your own gyro-stabilized helicopter using canvas wings and wheels. Instead of cannons and mgs, you have to figure out a multi shot bomb launcher that won't immediately explode
Ye but no point in making such a game, as much asxm i would to play a game like, it's harder to code, optimize, and to play, for finaly ending with 99% of the players just lookin up tutorials on yt on how how to make hovers ect
1. I would not recommend wasting coins on equipment you can grind from matches. 2. Coupons are primarily used for upgrading your co-driver, which offers passive buffs to your vehicle, but additionally for crafting loot boxes from the Engineers (which is kind of a waste). 3. Also as tempting as it is to use your cabin as armor for your weapons, the loss to firing angles may make their placement pointless, after all a weapon is only useful if it can fire at the enemy, so check to see if the loss in firing angle is acceptable before heading into a match by taking it out for a test drive. 4. Crafting blues will on average cost you 33.50C assuming you buy everything, or on average 5.00C (less if you rent in bulk) if you grind for the parts. So depending on how much you like the game and how much free time you have, crafting may be the cheaper if slower solution, and thus recommended for beginners. 4.1. Time wise buying blues will on average cost you C35 which will take on average 35 matches to get (Assuming average of C1 from rewards and 50% win ratio), while on average it'll take 90 matches to earn the scrap and parts needed to make blues, (once more average 50% win ratio, but the primary limiting factor here is scrap not parts or even copper). 4.2. But that is assuming you only buy or only grind which probably won't be the case as you will definitely wind up selling off excess parts and spare fuel before long, so on average you will have enough Coins to spare for Scrap to build a blue on average after only 30 matches. So while buying and selling may seem the quickest way, a mix of buying and building will typically be faster.
I can safely say that after starting the game over multiple times on different platforms this is a great way to go about doing things when you start off
Great video, very informative! I quit Crossout a while ago because I did not know what I was doing. This video has given me the knowledge I need to head back into the game! Installing it right now while writing this comment, thank you Gromek!
I learned that grills have some kind of an increased tollerance to damage or something like that, and that while same kind of fuel tanks do not stack, different kinds stack, and that never crossed my mind before, i thought that you can have only one item that gives you fuel
I thought grills don't receive any damage, but they don't block any either. They're basically permanent additions to your cabin or to your breakaway parts.
Was kind of annoyed b/c I was skipping through & thought it was just play-thru shots. Watch from beginning to end & pay attention to the tips that pop up in text. This is a very good video on how to get started.
A really good beginner build is double Lupara shotgun and double radiator. Have a ram in the front with a big front/rammer so you can ram and shotgun to death. Put shotguns at the top and cover it with low shields so you can shoot through. Can you try this build Gromek? Thanks
As soon as you get the Avenger Cannon, I suggest you practice your fixed cannon, and turreted machinegun maneuvers. If you're a beginner, prior to tat, you can make do with 3, or 4 Chords. You have to strip off the jack, and cooler to get 4. I'd rather have 3 Chords, a jack, and cooler. I also tier them with 1 up front low, 2 on outriggers higher for a triangular spread. Here's the thing, MGs are innacurate whole moving, sometimes you have to move. If all 3 are aimed in a line, then vertical dispersion is at right angles to horisontal dispersion. If you're aiming at the same point in rougly a triangle, the field of fire overlap more, and you hit probability is slightly higher. Also, the enemy can't wipe out your entire firefight bar if they're not all on the same side, and the same level of your vehicle. At best, they can take them out one at a time.
With 4 Cords, I have 2 low up front, and 2 high behind the cab. I half stack them, zig-zagging so one set it cooling off while the other is firing a burst. The zig-zags also present 1 side of Mini-van windows (Mostly) then the other, so it takes longer to chew through both sides than just my frontal armor.
This is a really good tutorial for beginners! One tip that I would have to keep your guns from overheating is alternating your weapons. Once you have created your build, look at the bottom right. You should see what looks like a turret. Clicking on it will allow you to select different trigger options, such as left-click and right-click. I prefer using these two for machine guns, as it allows me to alternate between weapons! While in combat, watch your weapon's thermometer-thingy icon! Once your weapon's temperature reaches the halfway mark, switch to the other trigger! By the time your second weapon is close to overheating, your first should already be cooled off! This method allows for consistent firing. Whether that does more damage then tapping all weapons together, I have no idea!
At the same time, it provides a continuous rate of fire, instead of stopping for a split second. Everyone plays how they want, that's the beauty of Crossout, I was just saying what I did.
Been playing for 3 days. Your info helped more than I could have learned in a month. The games seems like it’s going to be more fun and move faster. Watch out, I’ll be coming for you. 😎
After watching many Entak vids before, I learned how to play Crossout pretty well (taking weapons out first), even though the mobile and PC versions are vastly different. However, this tutorial does help with info I never knew. Thank you!
My favorite part of this game is when I'm waiting 2:47 to get in to a match and the "average wait time" clock says 0:07. I also love how ill be driving straight along and my truck suddenly and abruptly turns hard to one side or the other all on its own and runs me into a wall.
basically all you need to know is that its gonna take some hella time for you to get the rarer parts in the game (or just spend some money and get it ez)
I don't need it since I was at 4k powerlevel or something, but it's nice to see other people making their own car while knowing the same stuff. Every car is unique in this game (once you've played some hours) and that's interesting to see different minds' creations.
Nice video, thanks for taking the time and effort to do this, good tips that I had to learn the hard way :D I hope this helps to bring more adversaries and allies up the ranks and into my crosshairs/squads ;)
The new tutorial has such an impact against us old players... We never got that crate... But this is a really good guide for now. It's ok if you can't perform as well as him, just practice and you will get good. I personally learned from the battle strat. Keep making them good vids!
Quick tips Get as many kills as you can get, kills give you a ton of reputation. BUT! Don't just headbutt into them and try to kill each one. If you're about to ambush them, shoot the first one in front of you, and shoot the guns only first. Master jack is almost the *jack of all trades.* I recommend using the reputation flag if you have one.
I tried out the vehicles and some advices that I didn't know or thought where useful. It does really works quite well and indeed made it a bit easier for me. I guess for someone who is new to the game, this is from great value.
Im from Poland⚪🔴. I have in this game 42 hours and I still dont know how to play. Your video helps me so much. I love your videos and I am waiting for part 2. Thanks Gromek999!👍 Yo PS: I think my English is not good. Ja wolę mówić po Polsku.😂😂
amazing vid gromek, tips are great and vehicle is amazing! added tweaks to it tho to better suit me but looking forward to part 2 - Lord Jagras from discord [Lil Lizard]
thanks man this was helpful i just downloaded and started the game 4/5 hours ago it was fun and confusing at the same time. did check out some few guide videos but not that much of a help for me but thank god i found this one lol.... love the way you build your cars good defense im off to the game again lol have to try your build. once again thanks.
For the putting weapons on grilles or the cabin always, i would personally say you dont have to but put them on like 2 diffrent objects and try have as much health as you can on those blocks
I suggest to put the cabin in the front of the vehicle before getting strong bumpers though. Since the overall HP won't change, and the cabin can absorb explosive damage much better than a hump of armor mixture.
Yep, you are right. Another thing to mention if you want to do Part 2. From level 15 or whatever (I cannot remember), the new players will lose the newbie-protecting-matchmaking and directly face the seal-clubbers' low PS builds. so a brief guide on how to defeat or avoid several kinds of popular seal-clubbing weapons (like ATGM) may help a lot.
For all those that are on PS4, i am currently trying to recreate his builds in case someone is starting out, i have all of them on the marketplace, untill Noobcannon 1, and i am currently farming coins to be able to put more blueprints on the marketplace.
I gotta say.. The scrap and fuel selling stuff is quite good. I have 900 or sumting and I was struggling to get medium wheels. The AWD version of them. It works nice especially because of their low price. Thanks!
Well know I know what to do when I finally move to PC. Started off on PS4 and having fun for the last two weeks but this seems so effective. And now I’ll know for next time.
