EQUIPMENT
A normal-size plastic disposable cup
INGREDIENTS
8 cups sifted flour (1 kg)
1 tablespoon salt (½ oz/ 14g)
2 tablespoons dry yeast (1 oz/ 28g)
4 tablespoons sugar (if you want it sweeter you can put 5 tablespoons) (1 oz/ 25g)
3 cups lukewarm water
1 cup oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1) In a deep bowl, add half the amount of flour with the salt and mix them thoroughly.
2) Add the rest of the flour and create an indentation in the middle.
3) Put the yeast, sugar, oil, and water into the tiny pit, then knead everything for 10 minutes or more.
4) Set the dough aside until it rises, and knead it again for a short while when it does.
5) Allow the dough to rise again until it doubles in volume.
6) Shape your buns with the cup and make sure that each one weighs about 3-3.5 oz. (90-100 g).
7) Let the shaped buns rise again for about 20 minutes.
8) Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C), then lightly brush each bun with a mixture of egg wash and water.
9) Finish up with a sprinkle of sesame on top.
10) Put the baking tray with the buns on the second to lowest rack of the oven and bake until they turn golden.
