@@melodopelive just bought a hon 3 drawer legal size filing cabinet for 40$ yesterday. All of my books will fit I’m hoping. Can get 5 rows in each drawer. ✌️

Fantastic job! Some questions: where do you get the extra metal bars for the front that help hold the comics in place for display? I noticed you mentioned in the video you needed to order more; where do you order from? Maybe I missed it in the video but what brand filing cabinet is this? Do most metal lateral filing cabinets have those metal braces when you take doors off? Anyways wonderful job and I hope to do something similar as to what you and Bub have accomplished. Thank you.

Measure the 1s you have because they are all different depending which cabinet...I looked mine up through google, and they are not cheap, unfortunately, so I made my own out of the foam board, which does the job...you can also try your luck at finding spare 1s from other used cabinets on fb or offer up

Check FB n offerup...offices and people in general always looking to get rid of them found 2 on there for 40 in my area then another 1 for free 💪

These are the 1s with the doors that fold up then drawer slides out not sure what the style or model is but I found mine on offer up n fb...business post going out or moving usually have these for cheap 💯🙏good luck on your journey 👍

Got another question. What did you make the boxes on the inside of the drawers with. Did you just take short boxes and cut them down or something else thanks!

Yes exactly but some I did use foam board from Walmart craft section but soon realized hot glue didn't keep them together so well so I switched up at the end n just cut some short boxes to size but you will need foam board to separate your top loaders in front from your comics behind it 💯💪

My family worries and now they have me paranoid that the cabinet I am getting full of comics will be too much weight for my floor. I'm just kinda curious where you have yours and if this was ever a concern? Thanks!
