Well, after much teasing and promise, it's finally here. This is The Ultimate Crossover, the largest mashup I have ever made. A whole 30 minutes of nothing but a collection of songs mashed with the main menu theme of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This took around a month and a half to complete. I was actually planning to release this earlier since the mashup was near complete, but I've been slacking. It did give me the opportunity to add as many songs as possible though. If your favorite song didn't make the cut (a lot of them didn't, I had to narrow it down), don't be upset. Just enjoy the mashup with the songs that I do have, and let me tell you, this song list is quite ridiculous. EVERYONE IS HERE from Smash Mouth, Michael Jackson, and Linkin Park to Rick Astley, SpongeBob, and Snoop Dogg. If I'm being completely honest, even though this was a massive undertaking, I still had a lot of fun making this mashup. I will say this right now though, I will never make another mashup that is this long ever again. Just the thought of surpassing 30 minutes gives me a bad ache in my stomach. With that being said, I hope you enjoy this insane mashup and share your opinions about it.
P.S. I keep hearing the recent news about what Nintendo is doing with Melee, Splatoon, etc. and I'm just going to say this, I don't care. It has nothing to do with me, I'm not an active member of the Smash Community (especially not the Competitive scene), and I'm sure Nintendo has their reasons since they're especially protective of their IPs. How you feel about the situation is besides the point of this video, I'm just here to upload a fun little mashup, nothing more. Just thought I'd share before I'm bombarded with possible comments talking about this.
P.P.S. I hope you notice some cute little easter eggs within the video. There are certain songs and clips that I've mixed together that are meant to reference something. Can you figure them out?
P.P.P.S. Sephiroth is so much fun to play! I don't think I've ever been this seriously excited for a new character since Joker.
