Definitely agree with Spooky, mmr is all over the place atm, and solo queue has always been bad. The updates are definitely something you can work to get used to, but it doesn't change that solo is always gonna be bad unless they can be brought in line with swf.

It's nearly impossible now to play and win with survivor, killer got too many buffs

This patch has been interesting. I started really playing like 2 rank resets ago, the first one I got to around gold 2 rank on both survivors and killer, but ran out of days before the reset. The next season I got killer to rank 1 iri and survivor to rank 4 iri fairly fast, maybe like a week or so. But this season and with the changes, I got killer to rank 1 iri in like 2 or 3 days, and survivor is still like around silver. Killer games are so easy. I'm guessing the changes just affected killer so damn much, but it feels way easier to play to me with under 200h played. Survivor on the other hand now, oh boy. before my games were fairly normal and the teammates seemed to be pretty much at the same skill level as me, aka very bad. I cant do loops or run the killer well, I just fat finger and all that. Don't get me wrong, I love being chased, even if I get downed fast. But these teammates I've been getting have been very interesting, like spooky said in the video at one point that he got someone dying to the mend thing, I've also gotten plenty of those. A lot of walking survivors just wandering around, taking in the scenery. Chilling in lockers for no apparent reason, while the killer is clearly chasing someone else on the other side of the map, and meanwhile I am on the hook, almost hitting phase 2, and its looking like the other teammates don't even seem to care about me at all. Just having a jaunt, no care in the world. Or being scared shitless of their own shadows at the corners of the map xD I don't get mad or anything, tilted yes, because of course I would like to rank up and get that sweet, sweet BP. But there is nothing I can do about the matchmaking, other than just deal with it and try my best. I do hope something gets re-balanced with how things seem to be for everyone right now. Really liking the game, even with the very competitive players you run into in this fairly casual 1v4 game you should be playing for fun and not sweating your ass off for no reason, and getting very very mad. To me that just doesn't make sense, to play a game you are clearly not having fun playing and just raising your own heartrate to critical levels. Love your videos Spooky

I'm glad Spooky has mentioned something about MMR I don't have many friends that play DBD realistically I only have 1 that I play with regularly but the rest of the time I'm solo queueing even when I play with my friend we regularly get put with people that have less than 10hrs playtime this really needs to be fixed even killers one match I go against some absolute potatoes and then the next round the game doesn't even last 5 minutes because I'm getting gen rushed by a swf I feel like DBD needs to add forms of communication as base kit instead of using perks if you're swf u can tell your team mates if you're being camped or which gen you're working on solo queue is mostly just 4 Solos working separately for the same goal there's never really any strategy at least in my experience

Yeah, I want to play, and it can be rough getting a full squad of friends to play. Even 1 random usually kills the game for us. I feel like since the update, I've lost way more games, not to mention camping and tunneling seems to have spiked up hard. Maybe I'm just super unlucky and get all the terrible surv and or killers. But to put it bluntly, the game just doesn't feel fun anymore. I always seem to log off salty more often than not. I'm not gonna cry and say "this update ruined the game" but I think the problems that already existed in the game, were further amplified by the update rather than fixed.

Yes when you have like 5000 hours in the game it's pretty easy to say things like "solo queue has always sucked" something I'm hearing from a lot of content creators lately. The thing is that you were having fun in this game and so out in those hours. I don't have your skill, and I don't remember the last time I escaped a match. There's no incentive for me to build that skill because quite frankly I'm tired of being curb stomped and can't imagine spending thousands of hours like this.

I was watching your old videos and saw you help a twitch player get enough money to get a tablet and I have to say that is very kind. Spooky the problem i'm having with this update is all the killer buffs such as the mini pop killers get each time they kick a gen combined with the extra time added on the gens is making it impossible to do gens especially in solo que my average game right now i'm lucky if my team can mange to get 2-3 gens done a match because killers are still stacking perks like ruin, overcharge, pop. thana with the new built in gen regression and when you combine it with killers tunneling even more then ever now that ds is a 3 sec joke. Like always i don't understand how they think built in BT will save the game from tunneling and camping because it doesn't the killer only has to follow you and wait 10 seconds for the bt to run out and your back on the hook. Not to mention the nerf distance we got from taking hits. Over all this update is a big L for survivors for WAYYY more then just DH which imo was overrated to begin with.

So, mostly bugs? That would explain why I'm unable to log into the game. It kept saying the server crashed, displaying the Unreal Engine logo, and asking whether or not I wanted to send a report or something. Then I got a note about updates and patch-fixes on STEAM. Been hell trying to get back in. SO, I can understand the feeling about what DBD is now. I only fear and dread how worse it'll get later.

Solo queue needs buffs, like an icon to show who is on a gen, who is in chase, who is on a totem etc... or maybe even just a thing that says "This survivor is on an objective" which is more ambiguous and maybe that way more fair, but it needs to happen to make it playable

Posting here to say I don’t really like premier content, my attention span and free time never last long enough to see the actual content, and RU-vid usually only recommends it to me before the video gets released and not after.
