You can play Nimrod middle and Galactus left as well. Galactus' effect destroys locations from left to right, so he will hit middle first, Nimrod spreads into left and right, then right gets destroyed and you get your second Nimrod into your Galactus lane.
I love multiple content creators out there (Alex, KMBest, EducatedCollins, etc.) but this is, bar none, the best and most useful marvel snap content out there. It's easy enough for beginners to grasp but deep enough for veteran players to understand nuances that make their game better. Where most content creators simply show a decklist and show a couple of games, the explanation and deep dive into a single archetype from these videos is insanely valuable to anyone looking to improve. Rather than simply saying what is good, this content helps players understand *why* something is good and educates on a conceptual level. Even as someone who regularly achieves infinite rank, I look forward to these videos to keep finding ways to improve. Keep it up Cozy - Nobody is doing it better!
Destroy has and always will be popular no matter how good it is because of the characters in destroy. Wolverine, Deadpool, venom carnage, some of the most popular characters in all of comics.
100 percent agree about carnage. He was a staple in my early thanos decks as Thanos was my first big bad. Carnage is also a great bounce target for beast
That lamby deck is cracked. It consistently puts up big numbers even if you float multiple turns, plays around a bunch of different locations, etc. I went from 80 to infinite in about eight hours with it. So fun.
This was great! I've been toying around with Destroy and I love how in depth the discussions were. Great getting three different perspectives which is hilarious at the same time. I'd love to see something like this for Ramp! If you did a Surfer one you'd have to have Alex 😂
I think Shang is just sort of self-explanatory, also he's not a destroy card you can make use of at will, it's a tech card. I include him in my current destroy decks, even move-destroy with PF.
Yeah he's a very powerful card, gives you a huge upperhand when your opponent also has a destroy deck. End result of destroy is always fewer cards with higher power, so Shang-Chi is a great counter when you're playing against Destroy as well.
I know decks was a small segment, but I still would like the turn by turn play guide for at least one of the decks thrown out. Those were always the most hopeful parts of your deck videos. Having a better understanding of what you should be doing and working towards really cuts down on the learning curve.

Also one of the hardest cards to predict when playing against. Destroyer, venom+Carnage and Galactus are all possibilities and nimrod can end up spread out in a bunch of different ways.
As someone that ends up listening to more videos than I watch, I would love it if you mentioned what card you were talking about during tier lists, but other than that gripe, good video as always
Great timing! Just started trying out destroy because the cards kinda fell on my lap as I was opening caches, and it's been stealing me some gold conquest wins. :) Very informative and gave me a lot to think about going forward. Hope this becomes a series and you get the opportunity to cover more common archetypes.
I think Spidey 2099 needs the added Silk ability. "Thia first time this card moves OR when a card is played here, move this card to another location and destroy a random card on your opponents side."
Ive been playing Destroy a bit this season despite never liking the archtype but now I have found it quite fun. Got that sic Knull variant from the spotlight caches and that Carnage variant in the thumbnail and now I want to play it even more. I climbed ladder to 85 with it earlier this season and hit a wall and had to go to HE Lockdown. Only need 5 more ranks then I can hit Conquest with Destroy.

I opened today’s spotlight out of the hope I get kang variant I didn’t. Now I am saving for X-23 and the Gwenom Variant. Hopefully cans save 6-7 spotlight reserves till then

Great discussion. Not a destroy card, but Shuri needs to be in any deck with Nimrod. Shuri buffs Nimrod on turn 5, then Deathlok and Venon, or even Dr Strange and Kingpin, can spread him around the board.

I like Nimrod, but it's possible to play destroy without him, I don't think it's viable to play without Deathlok. Imo S = Killmonger, Venom, Carnage, Death, Deathlok
I think phoenix is a fantastic card and a wonderful deck, had a lot of fun playing it. The problem not mentioned here (so might just be my opinion) is that it's a build around card that struggles to be good if you don't draw that card, struggles to be even slightly good. I feel something like Galactus you can build around, and include a few back up plans, a few alternate plays in case you don't draw him, but if you don't draw Phoenix what are you doing? Hoping to not hit your own cards with Venom? Moving a 3 power multiple man once?
Death and Knull for the most part of completely destroyed by spider ham. I love both cards but it hurts to see a 1 cost card make them completely obsolete.
There may be no card in the entire game (except maybe Angel) that needs a rework more than Kingpin. He needs some love. I want to play him more, but he is so clunky.
Really liked the in depth card discussion! Love playing destroy deck. I'm thinking about swapping Deadpool with Nimrod since Deadpool never really won me games and destroying it more than two times is actually harder than it sounds.
My favourite deck for months has been a negative destroy deck, was really hoping to see some love here for that deck 😢 love the video either way but get negative in there for the 0/6 knull and arnim please! Haha
Destroy is easily my favorite arch type. The only way I get to infinite lol. I’m only missing galactus and 2099 but idek if I want em. Cozy always coming thru with a W video tho.
They discussed kingpin but didn't go over shang-chi, Gambit, Galactus, or Attuma!? Haha I loved the video but it felt odd to leave those four out considering kingpin was included 😅
Suggestions for next time: 1) more decks! We got Lammy’s deck, but you and Snapstreak didn’t actually share the decks you’re using. 2) how to pilot a deck that doesn’t have tech cards. Simpler if you’re merely tying to maximize your own points. Would be helpful to see an example of how to control the nimrod popping with venom/carnage on 6. And that merely playing shuri into nimrod into venom carnage gives you 27 (venom lane) - 2 (carnage lane) - 24 (other lane) 3) gameplay! Example of how to anticipate and beat a cosmo. Example of unexpected/unique interactions, like when a destroy card isn’t revealed until the end of a game (because of location of invis woman)
What would you think about a card that you could Send to your opponent's side and activate. So say they were building something in one lane, there is a card you could use (whoever it would be. I can't think of a Marvel Character) that would send over say Carnage or deathlock that you put down and it goes onto your oppenents lane and activates it. destroying their cards in the process. Kind of like Viper. It could be a counter for Spider Pig and such.
I have a couple ideas for angel that could make him if not a good card then at least decent. I would probably start by giving him a Chavez type ability where he always starts at the bottom of your deck. That way you dont have the unfortunate situation of drawing him in the first few turns because then he's not only useless but actually a detriment. Making him a cheap america chavez type for destroy decks would be a way to improve his value without changing a lot and have him work and interact in the ideal way you'd want with him. Another idea is you could give him the ability to move once after he gets put on the board. Again its just a cheap way to have a non destroy ability in a typical destroy deck. If one lane gets cosmo, you could have angel fly to another lane nightcrawler style and be fodder for carnage or venom. Tl;dr: Give him a Chavez type ability where he never gets drawn so he doesnt mess up your hand. And maybe let him move once nightcrawler style.
The skip through Kingpin is hilarious. They should make him a 4 cost card with an ongoing effect. Make him like a 4-4 and if anything moves in his lane, he destroys it. Or make it to where cards in his lane can't be moved.
If Elektra was reworked to "Destroy a random 1 cost in this lane" it would be game changing. Being able to destroy your own 1 cost would be nuts especially if the opponent does not have a 1 cost in that lane you can destroy your own NOVA, Deadpool, etc
Yea with X23 you’ll destroy it, play Nimrod on 4, destroy it 1/2 times on 5, Knull on 6. Seems pretty evident that X23 is gonna allow Nimrod and Knull to coexist pretty easily.
The one true problem of Destroy is that there is only 3 cards that can reliably destroy (Carnage, Venom and Deathlok). We need more options. Some suggestions: - a one-cost that maybe destroys one random card in the lane it’s played on on your side. - a 5-cost or even a 6-cost, “Destroy all cards in this lane. Other cards left in play gets +1 for each card destroyed.” - a 4/6 that destroys the next card you play in this lane if the card has higher power than this card. - a 1/2 that destroys the next card you play in this lane that has less power than this card. - a 2/2 with ongoing gets +2 for each of your cards destroyed. - a 2/5 that gets -1 for each card an opponent controls that got destroyed. Just some ideas, coz Destroy is my favorite archetype in Snap, along with Discard, and i hope these deck types get some more love soon, especially discard with Spider-Ham singlehandedly killing either MODOK or Apoc and the deck in general.

Can you do a negative guide Because my only negative deck is the classic negative dexk with iron man mystique wolfsbane white tiger etc And the destroy negative
I still say that Angel and Archangel should be separate cards because while they are both Warren Worthington III, but they are completely different characters.
Negasonic is so insanely good, I have never not been able to play it properly be it destroying my own nimrod or destroying their high power 6 cost and feeding my knull I cheated out earlier
A ton of people, including me, excited for X-23 but not seeing the potential in Lady Deathstrike. Assuming her power goes after the buffs, if you dropped her on a Shuri that's all cards in that location under 6 power destroyed. 8 power if you Nakia first. That would practically secure you that lane, would help trigger cards like Bucky or Wolverine if you havent already, but also it would add a ton of power to Knull next turn. You could even Arnim Zola her to kill the other 2 lanes. I think she's gonna be pretty cracked.
