See Shawn in concert and you will see than any OBJECTIVE Elvis fan cannot deny the uncanny ability of Shawn to bring Elvis back. Every move, every look, every detail is Elvis. There is not even a close second. We all have our favorite ETA, but if you're talking about an objective opinion of a re-creation, Shawn is the best, hands down. S in PA
in the first one I saw here,Elvis never moved that fast. i was in Hawaii in the audience when he taped the aloha special. I know all his moves and that voice. there will never be another Elvis.
Nearly four years later, Shawn continues to dominate the ETA world selling out arenas all over the world and still playing to hometown audiences in little Pittston PA. He's the best and if anything, has gotten better over the past four years. The performance is the most authentic in the world...no one can come close. Even Joe Esposito agrees and he 2010 Vegas performance was historic, and repeats again this July! Be there! S in PA
I'm completely impartial and can say 100% that the best of all time is Klush. He is phenominal on stage and his voice has almost perfected Elvis inthe last year. Stunning show.
When I heard Shawn speaking, my heart nearly STOPPED ! 😮😲 HIS VOICE SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE ELVIS !!! 😯📀💖💋💕💞💘💘💝😢😢😢😢😢OH MY GOD ! I NEEEED TO SEE HIM PERFORM !!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😢😢😘
Shawn Klush is the greatest Elvis tribute artist ever.He has everything down...looks,mannerisms,moves and most importantly the voice.Continued success to him.
shawn you are the best, yes the ultimate one who brings elvis back on stage! and i am proud you chose me as your german representant of your fan club....hugs!
Shawn did a great job and when they annouced his name, Trent was shocked he didnt win lol Trents great but Shawn is more down to earth and im glad he won!
Superb my handsome Aloha! Really deserve the title to represent our dear idol Elvis! We're thankful you're humble and full of passion to keep his music and memory alive! We love you no doubt about it????
wow.....sure wish I could have been there but...live in Canada and hey...the Collingwood festival really rocks. Donny will be there this summer and because it is another competition for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist...so will others from around the world. So why not come up here and experience the largest festival outside of Memphis? Just in case you don't know....am a diehard fan and a grandmother of seven boys..yep...but am not old..lol..Love Elvis..
I think that actual songs, he recorded 750, but with concerts and other versions of similar songs, I have heard around 1000 to 1100. Or something like that. I have been listening to Elvis since I was 3, and I am now 37. I am so glad that youtube is here to see Elvis footage of concerts that one might not see otherwise.
well done to all three in the finals, i think trent does a great great show, but shawn just pulls out those extras and he is the man. he deserved to win, he is the greatest eta in the world full stop, i am convinced elvis would be glued to the stage if he saw shawn klush, shawn does our profession proud. your friend mark in ireland
Shawn IS the best....here is why... He does NOT over do all the "classic" Elvis cliches. He channels Elvis very naturally...his mannerisms are amazingly right in the pocket. His vocal tones are not always DEAD on, but they are very good and his pronunciation is almost PERFECT. He brings 70's Elvis to life in a respectful and very believable way. He is not a Cartoonish Elvis like Trent Carlini and so many others...I'm tired of Elvis tribute artists making a big stupid joke of the whole thing.
Pull up Shawn on the British Elvis search that's on here. He is freakingly a lot like Elvis. He's humble like Elvis, a very nice guy, and it means something to him. He sings from his heart.
Another thing.........Elvis was a humble person.........appreciated his fans.......did perform for them. Always made sure that fans were in the front row..........as opposed to big wigs....
Thanks for the recomendation. He is really good. I still have to Say that Doug Church is in a class by himself. However, it is comforting to know that there are a few guys out there who actually do a tribute of E that is worthwhile.
Shawn is the best always number 1 for me--I wrote a tribute song for Elvis and gave it to him last week in Memphis--I hope he'll sing it someday cause no one can do it better. DrSean
These guys are good, but there is only one ELVISSSSSS OMG I miss that man. Can't believe it has been 32 years, seems like yesterday they said he died,,,,,,, sniff,,,, tears rolling. RIP E LOVE YOU FOREVER
Well I have never seen Trent in person...and he is not one of my favs. But was familiar with some of the top twenty-five. Quite a few were from Canada...where I live...and do attend the Collingwood Festival...where most of the ETAs perform at one time or another. It is the closest I will ever come to seeing or hearing the "PREELESS" Elvis. Right on..
I agree with you. I don't care who it is, NOBODY is like Elvis!!!! Whether they win an ETA contest or not. It is impossible to have everything that that man had.
UK Tribute Artists Paul Molloy & Jay Ashton perform in "The Wonder Of Elvis" ... the Concert. The footage for these clips was taken at the Show's Anniversary Tribute to Elvis, at the Library Theatre in Darwen on 15 August 2009 From the front row the sound quality isn't always the best (apologies) but the view is great ! It's a wonderful tribute to a legend.
i agree with you man. RESPECT! YOU ARE SO RIGHT.Finally i find a clever mind here that thinks like me. I mean,Elvis can`t be copied,he has a unique voice that will never be reproduced.
know what you mean...have been playing tapes in my car for my grandsons......they cannot escape.....lol...and if one has any appreciation of a voice that is unique...and so diversified.....find "Lovin Arms" or "Just Pretend" or "American Trilogy" for them to listen to..wow........Elvis was not just rock and roll...let me know.
WTG Shawn!! Watching this, you can see the disapointment on Trent's face, Donny hugged him right away, who also is really good!!! As far as ETA's go, there are many who thik they are all that, and they are not! I like a good personality!!! Not these who "think" they are Elvis!
Wow, that Shawn Klush guy really is something. He did Elvis some justice at least, compared to the others... The way he sounds and speaks is like Elvis, and his side profile from far kinda have the Elvis look too.. I'm not saying he looks exactly like Elvis, but he has that Elvis thing going on in him.... They are impersonator, so I guess we shouldn't compare too much to the real King!
Why would we as Elvis fans care to rate anyone OVER someone. Shawn is what I saw on stage back in the 70's. I am a fa of his. I am also a fan of anyone who makes the attempt but no one is ULTIMATE ELVIS except for Elvis. Graceland made it clear just what they think the BEST ELVIS is worth for a year, $5,000. The Best Elvis (if there is such a thing) i would be better off seling fries for McD's. At least they pay minimum wage. I stand by my comments above and wish every "Elvis" the best.
you have to see Shawn Klush live he is really great . This year in Collingwood he was on stage for over an hour and kept pretty true.. Carlini is good but S.K is better..
yep..Stephen Kabakos is the best. Just saw him in Collingwood this past July..was only my tenth year. And hey watch out for a newcomer..Pete Paquette...he is excellent..and a very nice person.
well my dear fans of Elvis....The talented ETAs go forward. There are many ETAs who do not compete......like Ryan Pelton and my fav Stephen Kabakos and Shawn and Gino and Donny and Brandon and etc. and hey where is Chris Purdee? In Florida. One does have to realize that in order to be the number one....it is the whole package....I would not put down anyone who makes a most sincere attemt to pay tribute to Elvis. I never did see him in person but I have enoug videos of Elvis to appreciate.
Heyyy...just discovered that Doug Church will be at the Collingwood Festival. Sure would like to see him live.....But will not have the time....sheeeesh..Must see Stephen Kabakos... but if I do get a chance......will certainly cheack him out.
Trent Calini did it for me! Got the looks, the moves, the voice, got it all...want someone to peel off your jump suit Elvis? (wink)...He should have won!
Hi Indtuder...did see Elvis in 1956..on tv...the tommy dorsy stage show...Jan..56..was balck and white..so unless you are as old as I..and hey...bye the way...all the ETAs have so much talent..there are some that have the humbleness that Elvis had....and some that do not.
yes...is a fact...this is what is going to make all ETA festivals that much more interesting. I am from Canada...and love the Collingwood festival. But did think it was a one time thing. The best of the best do perform there. So the legend does live on. Do you know what...my brother, who was an avid Elvis fan just passed on and as sad as I am.......in the memorial pic....his wife chose a pic........and he is wearing a t-shirt..the legend still lives. as was my brother...
Hi was 13 when I saw Elvis for the first time on TV. Was 1956...a long time ago...lol. Do like Shawn...and Donny..Trent made a big mistake by delaying his congrats. Do tell Donny that I will be at the Collingwood Elvis festival. Know he is there. And will be cheering him on.
