Love your videos and your ranking are usually very accurate. Only remark i might have is in ur ranking if you will put a weapon closer to a B+ or A- for example it is better to put it closer to the letter B on the list so we know in its own category it is higher than the rest of its respective category.
I can duplicate Benny in the casino by meeting him alone in bar then after talking I let him get up and head towards door but neat him out then turn around and go back in ,he will be at bar,I can do dialog over again and again or just Hidden kill him and take all his stuff. He will still be at the fort with all his stuff even though I took everything already already.
Apparently they're rarely used outside of DLC but some mobs around Freeside and Fiends territory can spawn with them. To be fair though I don't think I've ever used a hatchet in the 10 years
This is, without a doubt, my favourite Fallout information channel on RU-vid. There's plenty of lore videos, but few that focus on raw stats and gameplay in such an easy-to-watch format without ever being boring. Keep it up dude! :)
The Courier's Mile is the section of The Divide that Blood-nap is in. Even the game acknowledges that the area is ridiculously dangerous, since it awards you with a challenge just for going into the zone. Chance's Knife is a must have for any melee build character I run. Just watch out for the cazadores in the area.
Shishkebabs are very common in Honest Hearts at mid to high levels. I remember getting a lot of them with some anti-material rifles at a high level run at Zion.
Getting knock knock is actually super easy, you just can’t kill box cars in Nipton. If you kill him, it fails the quest and the guy who has the keys to the fire station and police station and search light disappears. You can roll into searchlight, kill the guy, take the keys, and knock knock is yours.
Machete gladius is good to sell cus u can get lot of it in nelson and cottomwood cove and its worth 1k caps each (at max health) and i can repair them with regular machete without jury rigging
I would love to see you do a Fallout 3 & Fallout 4 version of these. Some dude is already beginning a F4 version rip off of this and I’d like to see you jump the gun and get to them all first
22:50 The weapon's name is pronounced guh-HEN-nuh (or rarely juh-HEN-nuh). It weirded me out when you called it Guyana. I mean, that is where Jim Jones and his psychos killed Leo Ryan and then themselves, but I'm not sure if that puts it on the same level as one of the original Hebrew words for ultimate suffering.
Katana is fun because the upgrades feel like you are improving your weapon, which is something a lot of melee build don't get. You get your weapon and that's it lol
Small semantic note: The Protonic Inversal Axe isnt unique. It has 2 spawn locations. Held by a lobotomite in The Cuckoos Nest location in the Big MT where you find the toasters personality and in the VR room of the x13 stealth suit facility behind a hard locked door. The axe was jammed into whatever was powering the vr simulation with a note that says "I hate the vr simulation." So yeah. 2 locations. If I had a nickel for every kinda unique old world blues weapon id have like... 2... 3... 4... I think 4 nickels. Maybe the steriliser glove idk.
I find myself kind of annoyed with new vegas in that there are some key perks for melee or unarmed that should have a counter part along the other path. Slayer requires unarmed but applies to melee and unarmed, super slam requires melee but applies to both, piercing strike requires unarmed but benefits both. Would have been nice if there was some sort of either or option. Like if you have melee or unarmed you could get the perk. Having to level unarmed to 90 just to get the benefits for melee weapons feels like a scam.
This is the moment when Gehenna became Guyana Also the Blood-Nap is in the Courier's mile Also the chainsaw is my favourite partly because of DBD and the Texas Chainsaw series Also Also Also
If I remember correctly, the difference is that with a blunt weapon, you can't act covertly. With the help of a bladed weapon, you can cut out the entire camp Hopeless Hope - no one will raise the alarm and the reputation of the NCR will also not suffer. Even if you use such a big weapon as the Blade of the West.
I recently got a thermic lance early, after fighting the legion in nipton. And because of this video i gave it a chance. And it really lived up to that ranking! It does have long reach, and is very easy to use and abuse.
Great series! I think it bears mentioning, the knife spears mauler special attack seems to rag doll knock down many enemies into a near stun lock state, which really adds to their usefulness.
@@ReapeeRon True! I find the spears to really shine vs ghost people with the limited gear in Dead Money, coupled with the built in bonus damage to their limbs. Helps to make some tough as nails foes go down so much easier
Personally, I'd put Knock-Knock in S tier, way above the chainsaw; especially if it's on a Heavy Handed melee build. It's weight to DPS ratio is phenomenal, and it makes such good use of the Super Slam perk.
My favorite is the shishkebab, because I remember crafting a lot of them in Fallout 3. What's really fun is to give a shishkebab to a companion to light enemies on fire for you, so they are easier to see and shoot at night time.
Some of these brings back memories for me. I miss Old World Blues. I cant play it. Not on my old PC or my new one. The game literally crashes every 2 minutes and idk why. Base game and all the other dlc's work fine, but OWB wont play for me and I have no mods installed. Also, is the thermic lance technically a bladed weapon? lol
Do all the weapons have the same range or are there some differences? I haven't really used them that much, by I think I noticed that the knives have quite considerable reach.
Well of course the switchblade is weaker, it’s smaller than the knife/kitchen knife, also they need to bring all these weapons back in fo5 if that ever happens
I have, it’s my base in my mod list. It really does a good job of reducing crashes so much so, with how I modded my New Vegas it rarely crashes. The biggest thing to remember is after you go through Viva New Vegas be very selective with what you add, but feasibly you don’t need to have anything else added. Either way I do recommend it.
Please re-upload these with a consistent high or low end within teirs. As in, higher end of a teir on the left or the right, and ordered among them. It seems like you do this some of the time, but switch between legt and right being higher or lower.
BTW you do NOT have to cooperate with the raiders for chop chop I kill them but warning the game might bug so save for me it's usually fine (key's to the fire department is with the raider captain).
