Conor took him off guard with the respectful hand shake and smile, but like a poisonous spider he was spinning a web and Chandler didn't see it coming 😆
I think he has respect for other fighters but he goes into a role when he's on the stage. Win or lose he has more genuine things to say after a fight than before.
@@kigrey3994 🤣🤣🤣. Remember before the first Nate fight when Conor called other fighters panicked wrestlers who dive under pressure? He ended up doing the exact same thing himself. Projecting his own fears onto others. He's clearly intimidated but tries to play the bad guy...
@@jasper-qb6kt yes Challenge me and your mom will pick you up Afterwards. Conor is the Definition of weak and so are you. He is tiny and blows himself up bc of mental weakness. Chandler is better than Dustin lol it will be ugly
20 years later and the UFC still has no better idea to promote a fight than ‘let them coach TUF!’. I honestly thought this show had been off the air for ten years 😂
Conor threw him off so hard when he switched up real quick going from friendly talk to “you’ll do watch your told, this is my game” chandler thought they were buds 😂
Not at all. When someone has that much pride, like Connor, you let them go and run their mouth, when the time is right, alpha them. There's no point in talking reason to Connor.
Connor voice has got a deep tone. In the sense he means what he says. This season going to be 🔥 great promotion leaving up to a real fight. Chandler is ⛽ no brakes. Connor got that timing an reaction though. I feel it's like a umoveable object meets an unstoppable force.
Did not expect it to be this spicy right off the bat but it *looks*, ik there's editing and what not, but it looks like Mike's getting irritated already. And Conor acting like he is judge and jury when it comes to what weight they fight as is fckn hilarious and lowkey a stellar mental tactic
People will say he fights for money but even Conor is getting massively underpaid by the UFC. He could easily stop fighting and make more money doing movies, starting his own promotion, multiple businesses etc.
Lol He's already losing relevancy FAST. Forever? He's barely clinging onto relevancy NOW lol. I could only think of ONE big box office fight with him and that's IT (Islam vs Conor) bc of their History with Khabib. He even mentioned Islam by name in the 2018 press conference, and Islam was on the stage too
Been a huge Conor fan since before he was poppin, but I've seen chandler's fights and his quiet confidence completely matches conor's. Just because he doesn't have as big of a mouth as Conor doesn't mean he felt defeated in that moment. Dude has a lot of kidness and respect for people, he'll let someone win a verbal battle but when it comes down to it he's just as vicious as they come. He'll let his hands do the talking
Lol man it's crazy when Conor was on top of the world and everyone loved him. Now I can't go to a RU-vid video without like 90% of the comments just bashing the dude 😅
Conor doesn’t realize. Chandler is a bigger dude than he is. For Conor wanting it at 185 would be a death sentence for him. Chandler walks around at 200
Good to see Conor is still on top of his mouth game. Always been the best. But Chandler is part of the trinity of violence: Poirier, Gaethje, Chandler. Chandler does not fear Conor. Conor will have bombs coming at him, and Chandler has wrestling. I think Chandler has better cardio as well. This is a real fight, and both of these guys NEED a win badly.
Conor is a funny guy and I like him especially the gangsta walk but I think chandler is more hungry and will win easily. Bring back hungry Conor then that’s a different story. He’s a better actor now tho 👊🏻
@@ismaelbouissef4436 oh sorry mate.... You must be a badass yourself. I'm so sorry big dawg. Didn't realise you could whip Poirier or olivera. I'm so sorry big man
I'm so dead with Mike's confused reactions to Connor's sudden changes in personality. Walks in looking like he's up to something ==> respectful greeting ==> friendly banter ==> full on villain
I think it’s fun to break this interaction down (given the way it’s edited, which is not how the actual interaction took place, but all we can go off of). Connor comes in as an alpha. The way he walks, the way he dresses, the way he talks first. He wants you to know he is the smartest, richest, most talented guy in the room. And this isn’t just an act, this is Connor. The lines of the character and the actual person are very blurred. Connor is at his best when he is a 5th grade bully. Say something nasty, trigger you, and then he cackles (Dustin 1, Jose, and Eddie all played into this). Then you have Mike. He sees the Alpha and tries to out alpha the alpha. But there is a problem. Mike isn’t really an alpha. He is a “try to be nice guy.” He wants to be nice, and he will do a lot to prove it. Mike comes in and shakes Connor’s hand and smiles, thinking that Connor will reciprocate, which Connor does, but it’s not genuine. Connor is being nice so you can let your guard down and he can make a dig, which he does as he turns the conversation at the end into an attack. it seems like Mike is put back on his heels and is now left guessing where he stands with Connor. “Is he going to be nice, or is he going to be aggressive.” Either way, Connor is leading the dance because Mike is thinking about what’s going to happen next. I’m no expert, but Connor has shown to be least affective when he’s angry. He gets overaggressive and fixated on proving his dominance, to his own demise. Dustin and Khabib both knew this. Let Connor work himself up. They stayed calm. then when you do strike a blow, point it out. Let him know, “This is what I’m about, your talking means nothing in the octagon. If you want to get to Connor, you have to stay calm and go slow. The slower you go, the more time Connor has to wait and it slows him down too. Speak in facts with a controlled tone. “You must be really eager to get back in the octagon to prove that those two losses in a row mean your not finished and the money hasn’t gone to your head. You probably think I’m an easy win too. Maybe that’s why you chose me as an opponent?” I find it genuinely find it interesting to speculate about these interactions.
Exactly. Thats what also the show “McGregor Forever“ shows us. When mcgregor lost to Khabib he got really aggressive into this fight. He wanted to get into Khabibs head as always in his fights but instead of that Khabib was in his head. Also Porier 2 showed us that. McGregor lost in his own mind games. He has to be more relaxed and emitionsless in this fight, like back then. This is just buisness as he always says.
Real fighters know Connor was never great.. just a good fighter but with an amazing creative mind to speak. On the flipside.. Nate was never great neither and never had power but he could bring drama and a good script to every fight. Creating a character is sooo important 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
chandler is the best fighter in the UFC period, in that he does not poses himself as others due with beliefs undue and uncharted to a high degree.. win or loss, he gains from each fight, and he never tires of learning. if they were to fight, it would end in round one! not only a solidified wrestler of high pedigree, but a devistating striker all around. in word you find comfort, in fight dis-ease, yet why fight with word, when the dagger left not your pocket hole??? he ain't a talker, nor a walker, but the best UFC could possibly offer.. lowkey
