you're so right about not skipping dinner! i'm stupid so i'd always did this before parties so i could get drunk easily, because i need a lot of alcohol to feel it, and i was always that one person throwing up and passing out AT the party....totally ruins the evening and no one likes having to look after that mess -_- my freshers is next week and i'm definitely not skipping meals aha don't need to lose my shit in front of strangers
Shit, I need Vitamin C I’ve got all the others ffs. I have no time 😂 I’m moving into my accommodation tomorrow I’m too excited. Probably have to go to Asda - thanks Derin🧡🧡 Also, what happens if you can’t dance but you wanna go clubbing? 👀
girrlllll you better go get some!!! wishing you all the best with everything 💖 how is it??? HAHAH mood - I can't dance either but I do it anyways, it's dark/everyones drunk so dw no one will notice xx
I reactivated my Facebook when I started uni. It makes it easier to find your housemates and speak to them before moving in. Societies use it to post updates about events. Plus people tend to send party invites on Facebook and you don't want to miss those. It's worth having a Facebook.
yes it's super important! I discuss it in my University Checklist video I uploaded not too long ago on my channel 💖 I definitely recommend keeping updated with all of the uni groups & chats on FaceBook! x
Can you go to night time freshers events alone? say if your roommates don’t want to go out, would it be weird to go by yourself because you want to make friends.
🤣 cant do that for chemistry as we have important stuff like lab saftey, signing forms and most of all getting your lab stuff I have zero intentions of rolling to the taste lecture 🤦🏽♂️🍻
Naaabbzz i havent planned anything yet about uni/ its my last school year and i am still looking for courses and uni advices and stuffs like that/ lol thats why I’m here. 🌝💕💕
Hey I’m an international student .. how can I actually make friends coming from a different background ? And having to use a currency I haven’t used before
@@beautybyderin It's actually going really well!! My timetables fucking mental, I don't have a day off and 9am starts most days :/ , but I'm really enjoying it and I've not been sick yet! 😂💕
Did you know anyone that was 17 during freshers week? In my country we finish school 1 year earlier than English students and because my birthday is in November I’ll be 17 at the start of my course... How bad is it? I’m seriously considering taking a gap year because of all the complications when it comes to renting accommodation AND drinking - therefore freshers week and making friends in general
In freshers (and the rest of uni) did you do your makeup and hair by yourself in your room or did your flat mates do their makeup with you? How did that all happen did u have to ask for them to join them or not? Ps. Your hair is so nice xx
most times I did it by myself but occasionally we'd do it together - if we were going to the same event one of us would suggest getting ready together! & thank you so much 💓💓💓
I don’t know if I should buy my freshers bracelet because I haven’t obviously met anyone yet so I don’t know if should pay for it and then obvs not now anyone 😅
I'm going to Leeds uni in january as an exchange student, does freshers only happen in september or does it happen at the beginning of the classes in january too?
Starting uni in London in 2 weeks and I'm not 18 hahaha. I'm currently living in Germany so I can legally drink since I was 16 so I guess I'm gonna miss out on the clubbing aspect even though I'm normally a party girl :(
don't worry about it!!! one of my flatmates started when she was 17 as well. you'll still get to have a good freshers (just go to loads of flat parties instead/get your friends to buy your drinks and you'll be fine hehehe) xx
only if you buy them with a group of friends/know people already going - they're definitely not an essential I would say hold off unless you're keen to go to loads of events - otherwise it works out cheaper to just get the individual tickets xx
hey girllll! don't be scared, you'll 100% make new friends! it's a common anxiety that we all feel before starting, but trust me it's gonna be fine :) xx
