It did better than their previous album, Amerikaz Nightmare. Mobb Deep are in my top-5 of all time, but in the eyes of the public they weren't popular anymore by 2004. Signing with G-Unit gave them a boost in popularity, so it was definitely the right move. Haters also often think G-Unit imposed some creative decisions on their album, but that was denied by Prodigy, who said even the cover art was his idea. Mobb Deep just fully embraced G-Unit and were happy to be part of it.

Massive fan of Fiff and G-Unit to this day when he mentioned his son was his motivation to change his lifestyle to get into music and get out of the streets and the drug game because he never knew his pops therefore never had a father and son relationship so didn’t want the same thing for him and marquis was sad 😢to hear especially how things are between them nowadays I hope they can find peace with each other and sort out their differences and retain their relationship

However, jealousy and seeing your artist blowing up bigger than you can also play a role in giving false promises
