The heli intro's have to be one of the most creative and random intro's of any channel. I like them, always curious what happens. Like with The Simpsons couch in their intro.
the mirage at 26:30 was such a comedy skit man. full dives over your entire aa network for 30 straight seconds, gets 8 missiles launched at it, ALL MISS, kills a heli and it leaves at 100% hp. I cant be bothered to calc out the odds on in, but man thats truly an rng moment
Apparently IRL the T-55's offroad speed is 27kmh, and the T-34's highest offroad gear is 4th which allows it to go 30kmh as per Wikipedia. The more you know
Off road speed is a unreliable metric because there is no objective measurement of what conditions is considered off road. Top road speed is more objective because it is always a flat hard surface that every country can test a vehicle on. Off road means nothing because it can be hard desert plains like the middle east where even wheeled pickups do perfectly fine, to the rasputitsa of Eastern Europe where even tracked vehicles get stuck. Even official manuals are unreliable because soil conditions will differ from region, time of year, weather, and testing criteria. Maybe off road criteria is just grassy plains in one country but is soggy mud in another. The issue with going by top speed however, is that it isn't the practical speed. Most of the time, military vehicles aren't driving in straight flat roads. Not to be overly critical here but what do you mean by "off-road gear?" Most transmissions has a number of gear ratios. None of them is necessarily off road or on road. It's just speed vs torque. More torque will do better in rough terrain but where that line is drawn is up to the driver and road conditions. There isn't a magic cut off where the 4th gear is for off-roading and everything higher is not. As far as how to tell if a vehicle is better at off-roading, it is best to look at power to weight, ground pressure, amount of wheels, and top speed. Manual transmission with more gear ratios will provide more options for more conditions but also harder to use. If someone has a book on these tanks, you can dig into what each gear ratio is, the torque, speed, and so on but that information isn't readily available online. While top speed is imperfect, if your top speed on road is 10 kmh, and another vehicle's top speed is 60; the odds are the higher top speed vehicle is faster even when off road with very few exceptions. That said, the T-34(53 kmh) has very similar top speed as the T-54 (51 kmh). However, T-34 has higher power to weight which helps it maintain speed over bumps and slopes while also accelerating faster, thus maintain higher average speed in difficult terrain. Secondly, T-34 has lower ground pressure, so it sinks less in soft terrain which means less resistance and higher off road speed. Amount of wheels matter even for tracked vehicles since those are contact points where weight is transferred to the rest of the track. In this case, they have the same amount of road wheels. What that off road speed is will depend on soil conditions, but if both vehicles are in the same field, the T-34 will off-road better. T-54 does have higher ground clearance though, so in super deep mud or rocky terrain, it'll bottom out less. As for the notoriously hard transmission on the T-34; that is true. This is due to the lack of synchronizers on the transmission, and the fact it was rear mounted without power assist didn't help. That will have a practical effect beyond the paper stats. But this only further proves off roading is not something we can slap a fixed speed to. I think this is actually good for game devs because they can take some creative liberties to balance vehicles without getting historical authenticity people angry.
@@hippiehippiehippiehippie your “tanks” (up-armored ifvs) also suck at attacking because they don’t have stabilizers so you’re forced to use other units in the open
Wait a minute. Watch 24:34 the missile hit the hill because of the angle it launched. Or perhaps it lost sight? It's rare to see missiles interact with the terrain like this. I real life, hills are plane cover since they don't fly at fixed speed like Warno, though it would be macro hell if they introduced that feature.
I got 5 theories, why he lost. 1st he for some reason deployed late, because he arrived after Hippie 2nd he's not a good player 3rd he was actually trolling and playing bad on purpose, therefore wasting Hippies precious life time 4th *NO ONE CAN STAND AGAINST HIPPIE!!!* (at least in Warno) 5th hating Hippie gave him brain damage (one can't play very well with a damaged brain)
Having done some research on the AA changes the 35th mech duster seems to be very cost effective compared to pretty much anything. Does significantly more dmg than other similiar guns and has an m60 on top. I have no friends to actually test this with, I hope future dr hippler does some actual research.
i think 1vs1 maps should be bigger. To give more importance to micro. Sometimes games give more winning chances to the player who has more inf than quality
