Should a professional who is registered as both a nurse and a midwife in their home country include both qualifications when registering with the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS), in addition to their registered nurse credentials?
Hi! I believe they would only need the nursing license since midwives are regulated by a different council/organization. But you can email either NNAS or the regulatory for the province you are applying for
You can use approximation. We don't have the exact number because we were not paid by the hour in the Philippines so you can just compute for it depending on how long you have worked.
Hi . Thanks for the video . I thought I will download and print the EDUCATIONAL form for the school to fill and registration form for the regulatory body to fill and send . Please I need clarification. Thank you
After you pay, the NNAS will generate the downloadable forms. You print it and send it to the school, registration board for your country and employer. Then they will send it back to NNAS
Hi po, ask lang po sa forms ng NNAS if okay lang po ba yung signature ko is electronic then print na lang nila sa Pinas? currently working abroad din po kasi. Thank you po.
Hello diii . I decide to apply in langara...can u suggest me any diploma which help me to obtain bsc nursing after completion .....plz mam ...help me am literally very confuse😢😢😢😢😢

if i start my nnas now, how will i include this experience? and is it okay not to include about this experience and the course im going to canada for? instead i can show this experience for evidence of practice to CNO?
Im so sorry, to say Im so disappointed in NNAS. I send my papers to Philadelphia. One day they said ready to evaluate, another day again asking for new papers.,,,,For my license they told me they didn't get my license papers I spoke with 2 person and finaly one told me they did get it but unfortunately papers expired!!!.Every time new person on the phone. And i have to explain all the time again and again to different peoples .For my license ,they told me they have to Google the place where get my licence !!! What a crappy service!.I spend my money and my time for nothing. I wish i get my papers back, bcz we are paying from our pockets for every paper school translate and sendet to NNAS!!!
Hi miss Fab, I have a question. How did you calculate the number of hours per year? Did you contact your previous employer and ask for the number of hours so that it will be the same as what your employer will fill-up on the form?
Hi Ms. Fab, good day! Just wanted to ask if I need to add another nursing school since I attended more than one school. I transferred from one university to another. Thank you! Stay safe. 😊
Hi Ms. Fabb what if I put LPN can I still change to RN for applying NNAS, And one more thing about my experience in my certificate of employment I am staff Nurse but not work as nurse pt interaction because my experience is cord blood extraction it can affect my experience? Can still be acceptable to NNAS. Hoping for your response Thank you
Please some one that has RN through Diploma in a nursing school and later got BNSC in a University although the licencing was done after the diploma programme so which of the schools will I fill first and which of them will I send the form to.
hi miss fab , i have worked for 1 year in year as a registered nurse . i used to have 5 offs in a month and i have worked in shifts . so how do i calculate my hours ?
Hi! I usually just multiply hours per week to 52 weeks. You can watch this video for more info ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lNAJpPFqlf8.htmlsi=g7imywEeLV0sDnQ6
If I don't have nursing license of my home country and recently completed degree without internship as required to register with my nursing body ( pnc) can I apply for this
More info here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AIyJGkO38TE.html You are only eligible to apply for an NNAS application if you: - Graduated from a college or university nursing program outside of Canada - Have never worked as a nurse in Canada before - Want to work as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) in Canada Source: www.nnas.ca/applicant-handbook/
I think it is okay but your uae experience may not be considered for the assessment if you will not tell them about it. But you can always email them about it they would respond
Hi Ms.Fabb, im about to pay but there was a note that i need to complete the examination part but when i checked it , everything is correct nothing was missing. Can i proceed with the payment ? I hope you can help me. Thank you.
You can try and save it first, log out then check if it still gave the error then if it still does you can take a screenshot then email them explaining what happened. Hope this helps!
I submitted my initial form and payment April 2020 and received the report December 24, 2020. I am planning to make a video about it soon hope you will subscribe :)
Hi Fabb. Thank you for this video. I just wanna ask on how to remove one part sa Part B: Registration kasi nagkamali ako dun sa isa eh pero naadd siya. Thank you
sa Part B registration... since 2018 yung last work ko sa hospital,, ang ilagay ko ba sa ''STATUS '' ay practicing or non-practicing? i work as PSW ngayun dito sa canada 2022 till present....salamat po
Hello po Ms. Fab I would like to ask on the name of the nursing supervisor part kasi in the last 5 yrs I have worked in different institutions po. Whose nursing supervisor should I put po, the recent one na lang po? Also, sa date started and ended this employment part po which date po ilalagay sa recent employment na din po? Pls help. Thank you
Hi Fab, Part C Regarding the Examination, Date Took Most Recent pertains to the date of the NLE? And the date pass, does this pertain to the registration date or the oath taking or the date the results were announced? Thanks po
Hi! Once you have paid the assessment fee, they will provide forms for education, registration and practice. You need to print them and send it to NNAS address within one year. More info here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lNAJpPFqlf8.html
Hi! According to the handbook you should select an additional nursing group by choosing the “Add Nursing Group” link in your applicant Dashboard screen. You will be charged for each additional nursing group that you select. I can't remember how the dashboard look like before my advisory report was given but you can search for the term "Add Nursing Group" Hope this helps!
Hello po 🙂 Regarding po sa connection ng NNAS and NCLEX, from what I originally knew is kailangan po na accepted ka sa NNAS para maka-take ng NCLEX. Pero I read po from somewhere na kapag nakapasa po sa NCLEX ay kailangan pong i-update yung NNAS, and auto-pass na raw po na tatanggapin ng NNAS. Totoo po ba yun? Huhu can you please explain po 😢 Thank you po 🥰
Hi Ms. Fab, ask ko lang po sana if hndi na po ako nag work since Jan 2022, then ngayun lang ako mag register for NNAS, sa part nang license ba e lalagay ko pa din na practicing? kc valid pa? or start na nang non practicing ko yung after nang JAn 2022? Thanks in advance po.
Hoping for your guidance. Thanks po.
Hi Ms. Fabb, can i ask for advice po? Im a registered nurse in ph but no work experience,i recently got my pr approved. Can i use home child care provider as a work experience for lpn? Another question po is my fiancé is also a registered nurse but he only has work experience as nursing aide,do you think it’s better to start his application now while he’s still in the philippines?then i can just have his identification notarized here in canada then send it back to him? Thanks in advance po.
Hi! I'm not totally sure but I think it just says in NNAS that it should be hours that you are practicing as a Registered Nurse. If the fiancé will be a landed immigrant too, I think it is a good idea to start NNAS practice while in the Philippines to personally handle the school, work and prc part so it will be faster and no need for authorizations. And yes, I would highly recommend to do the ID notarization in Canada since it would be a big hassle if it will be from the Philippines since it would need to go thru lawyers, and DFA before being sent to NNAS. Hope this helps!
Hello maam. Under part B & C registration and examination, included po ba ibang previous licenses like Saudi council/ license and exam from Saudi? Thank you.
You should say yes where it says "Have you written and passed NCLEX-RN on or after April 1 2013?" they they will ask you for your NCLEX certificate number
my last hospital experienced is on 2018, 6 months only,,, am now working as a Personal support worker d2 sa tooronto 2021 to present day..., its still i put a NON_Practising sa NNAs aplication status?? salamat po
hello, I already have cgfns ces report and Texas BON RN license. will nnas accept cgfns report or I should go through the whole process from the beginning?
Hi Ms. Fab, thanks po sa videos mo nabawasan anxiety ko sa pag fill up ng forms haha, hmm would you know anyone na ng apply but has been away for 10 years from the nursing practice? any feedback on their application experience? thanks po in advance.
hello mam, I just have a few questions po? 1. yung sa date took most recent ng board exam ano pa yung date usually ilalagay dun? 2 days po kasi ang NLE ko nung nag take po ako. Which one to put po? the first day or second day? 2. In the employment section, current employment meaning yung last po na employment? Kahit po hindi na po working doon? Kasi po currently int'l student na po ako so not employed na po ako sa last work ko. 3. yung sa part po na total number of nursing practice hours in the last five years, need ko po ba i combine yung dalawa kong employment? ksi po I've worked sa KSA for 2 years and the rest po sa pinas. thank you po sa reply. godbless po.
1. I entered the first day of the exam on my application 2. You would enter employment dates for that and only nursing employment lang ang ilalagay. 3. Yup. Basta from 2019 up to present hope this helps!
1. Yes you can. I applied mine when I was still in the Philippines 2. Watch out for future videos because I will be explaining the new pathway for nurses just released two days ago
@@nursefabb_ca Ma’am after paying, the only forms showing are the nursing registration form and identification form. I can’ find po yung iba like employment and yung sa school.
Hello mam fab, planning to start po my NNAS, mam ok lng po b na hindi ko na i include ang past experinces q, like ksa year 2011 - 2013, and qatar 2016 - 2019, kc bka matagal cla mag response sa mga queries from NNAS, my recent experience po ako dito sa philippines since oct.2020 upto present - eto lng po sa na ag i dedeclare q . Kung eto lng po ag ilalagay ko ,hindi ko narin po declare ang mga past examination ko like prometric exam ko from.ksa and qatar. Maraming salamt po.
Sorry im not familiar with the prometric exam, but I think if you were given license to work in Qatar maybe you need to include it to be considered. You can always email NNAS to verify. Sayang rin po baka makatulong sa advisory report
@@nursefabb_ca thank you po ma'am. Question po ulet sa educational background. Bale 3 universities po 1st sem - pines university 2nd sem upto graduation sa - baguio central university May 2 subjects po ako na nai cross enroled sa AMA university. Pa anu po ag pag fill up mam salamat po 🥰❤️❤️❤️
Hi. Just a clarification po. In the part where it asks "Did you obtain registration in the jurisdiction where you completed your initial nursing program?", you mentioned that it means that "did you practice in the country you studied nursing". Does this mean that you should've practiced/have experience in the country you graduated from? Coz I understood the question as whether you have obtained a license to practice or as they say it, you are a registered nurse and passed the board regardless whether you have experience or not. Correct me if I'm wrong as it may create confusion to some. Thank you.
I have to review the video but yes that does mean did you get PRC registration regardless of your practice. Also, it is not required to have experience to apply for NNAS. Hope this helps!
