Keep in mind that even though some figures are cheaper in lots, parts might be damaged, loose or missing if it is a less experienced seller

Lots can be helpful, but you need to know what you’re getting and (as you mentioned) the condition of what you’re getting.

I think it's also really important to consider buying local Lego lots from people as well. I have made my best purchases of all time on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist and local places like that from people just trying to clear things out of their house who aren't tech savvy enough to make an ebay account or just don't want to mess with it.

That’s a great point. Unfortunately, there are a good amount of savvy LEGO sellers within a 20 mile radius…so no good deals for me.

For smaller collections or people that have A LOT of free space on their walls, I feel that cases are better since they shield the dust from the figures. I keep my collection in cases and I don't have dust problems. Dust acuumulates on the case instead of the minifigures and the case is extremely easy to dust rather than air spraying each figure individually.

I agree totally on this but it has become pretty difficult to find 8 spot mini figure cases or even 12 spot ones the official cases made by lego are almost as costly as the figures you put in them lol just being honest

Super useful video! My favourite minifigure is probably the maskless Captain America from the civil war black panther pursuit set. It was the first figure I ever ordered online, I really like the look of it, and also I use it a lot in my stop motions

Thank you so much for the tips for me I would say go out to garage sale and flea markets second hand stores and try to find loose figures like today I purchased 2018 sanctum Sanctorum doctor strange for $20 and Wanda from the hulk attack set for $5 at a flea market saved myself $27

The upcoming Dr. Fate in DC's Black Adam Lego sets will be my favorite Lego minifigure. I'm more of a DC fan, and a minifigure of Dr. Fate has been long needed. There's no confirmation yet, but I'm sure he'll be in one of the Black Adam sets; I'm just so excited and can't wait for the movie to come out. Besides that, my favorite minifigures are Martian Manhunter New 52 and Katana.

@@Pandacalifornia Unfortunately nothing is confirmed. Leakers thought DC's Black Adam Movie has an upcoming set but it was for Marvel's Thor Love and Thunder. Shazam didn't get any set so I'm pretty scared if Black Adam wouldn't have a set too but I'm more inclined in believing it will have a set since Batman had Lego sets 😔

i like buying in bulk from my local country in fb people sell bulk lego pieces and minifigs for great price i sort them and peaces and make extra bucks :) like the parts make me my money back and minifigs brings extra money

My favorite minifigures of all time are from the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Video Game (on Nintendo DS), Will Turner captain, human Davy Jones, cursed Jack Sparrow,... There is a lot of characters that Lego never made. (Sorry if my English isn't perfect, I don't speak English everyday)

I don't want any of my figures to get dusty or damaged so as soon as i get a set I build the figures and put them in individual zip bags and store them in a dark place out of the sun until I have the room and money for a proper display case

So most of my frames I bought, then carefully added all the minifigure mounts. The Marvel board is two 27 in X 40 in frames I combined together with some scrap wood and hooks. But adding the figure mounts is all done by hand!

Sometimes I check Facebook market place and Craig’s list to see if people are getting rid of older sets. Check bricklink though as you’ll get the most consistent pricing there

Hey Ryan! My favorite minifigure of all time is probably going to be the iron man silver centurion figure. I don't have it, but I know the detailing on the figure is absolutely incredible. By the way, there was a lego store I recently visited, and they had the polybag figure for $99, unlike some sites that sell it for $130-$140. If you didn't have it, would you pay $99 for it?

I’d check eBay as you can usually get the Silver Centurion figure for about $70-$80. As for the armory, go for the big ones first like Iron Patriot, the original War Machine, the rarer Mk 45…

So if there is an official figure, I go for that over the keychain. But, if there is ONLY a keychain (like the Teen Groot with angry face), I'll allow it.

How do I get The Collector figure from SDCC without paying $900-$1000? 😆 pretty much all I need next to the Iron-Man toyfair figure from 2012 which is also thousands of dollars. Sometimes you can’t get them all.🤷🏾‍♂️

I have a custom collector but it doesn’t feel right if it’s not official lego lol. What sucks is I went to SDCC in 2018 and 19 but I was too focused on getting my comics signed. Plus the Lego line is always ridiculously long lol.

I know this video is old, but does anyone know anywhere to buy a hulk bigfig, vision minifigure and and The Wasp minifigure for cheap? Everywhere I look those characters are ridiculously expensive. Also if anyone sees this comment and is maybe looking to sell or get rid of any of these figures I mentioned let me know

The cheapest hulk is about $8 (bright green with purple pants) on BrickLink, so I’d check there for the rest of your list. Make sure you aren’t looking at the exclusive figures that came with the $500 Avengers Tower set as those will be more expensive. Expect to pay around $10-$15 per each figure and don’t forget shipping costs!
