I know your comment was a while ago but I’m starting in the same program and wanted to know how it’s been for you and if you have anything to add about it!
FIU was the first college I got into and it’s honestly been a great experience! I encourage you to get involved in something and you’ll make friends quick, good luck! 💕
Thank you! This is helpful! I am a senior that was accepted in international business, too! Will you like to talk more about your experience in this major? I am an international student by the way :)
I just got accepted for spring 2022 and i had a 2.93 gpa with a 1190 sat. They told me that i needed between a 3.3 and 3.4 for automatic acceptance, but maybe they might accept you straight up depending on your sat.
Finances are really dependent on each person’s situation. College is definitely not cheap, but FIU is more affordable than other Florida state colleges. Apply for scholarships and grants!
Omg I just saw your comment! Biggest commuter advice is getting involved in clubs/student orgs. It’s the best way to make friends with people you have common interests with. Try to limit yourself from just going to class and then going home, there’s so much more to college even as a commuter!
