Kissing your spouse to energize you is super cute and I never knew it existed until now. I love all these little details Concerned Ape added just for fun.
Recently, I had a quest to give Evelyn a sea cucumber. I misread the quest and gave her a super cucumber. I think it was good quality. This counted as a gift. Evelyn hated it so much I lost an entire heart with her
@@TheKelliestKelly George is great for this. He keeps on requesting Refined Quartz... So I thought sure. Why not. I'll give you some then make you a gift of another piece. I have plenty. He did not appreciate that one bit.
I feel weird because I always work on friendship from day 1 because it feels good to grow as a member of the community 🥹🥹🥹 also I love the mouse ears and tiara so I gotta be friends with people anyway!
Omg! Thank you so much for these beautiful info guides! I love how it's all in one, easy to read format. Thanks so much! I'm gonna download them for my game. I've been working on friendship for days! First time doing it for everyone, so this is so so so so helpful. Thanks again!
I didn't know that just randomly talking to people raised your friendship 😂 I thought only gifts and cut scenes raised them. I needed this video. Thanks!!!
17:36 Fun fact: Sebastian doesn't just hate the complete breakfast, he also hates all eggs (except void eggs, which he loves) and all recipes that primarily feature eggs. I like to think he is allergic to eggs
@@Indeeeea lot of people who are lactose intolerant can actually eat goat cheese because of the enzymes etc that are used to make it, plus goat milk lacks a protein present in cows milk that a lot of people react poorly to. I'd never heard that theory about Leah before today, but it makes more sense to me now lol
Meanwhile, Alex is still the most annoying villager to befriend, since he either wants all of your animal produce for breakfast or a dish that can only be cooked in the Fall.
Thats why i bought a chicken and named the chicken the code for the breakfast thingy (im literally obsessed with Alex) but also sometimes at the saloon gus will have the breakfast thingy or the salmon thingy
I usually just stick with high quality liked gifts for Alex 🥴 he was the one I decided to marry on my current playthrough and it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but def felt like a slog
You only get +10 if you talk to villagers while they're doing stuff. Some villagers are in the middle of activites during festivals - like Emily who is lost to the dance at the Luau. Do you know if it's still +10 in these instances? I wouldn't be surprised if you get the full boost at fesivals regardless since it was orignally +0 to chat
For the Luau, I always use Gold Quality Super Cucumber. It can be caught every day at night during the summer (you can catch it the night before) and always ensures the best outcome. Since your fishing level is likely to be high by Summer (Fishing is the best way to make money unless you're doing the Tea Saplings or something), they shouldn't be too difficult to catch.
Everyone else hates the friendship mechanic, but I just would give gifts on specific days and it fell into my schedule. I got 10 hearts with everyone before Ginger Island opened (though, to be fair, I was very slow on the CC because I'm bad at fishing)
A minor thing to point out: Sam hates all mayonnaise EXCEPT for Dinosaur Mayonnaise. Granted, that has much better uses than as a gift, so it's unlikely to ever come up, but still.
I am late to watch this video but your sheets will save me, thank you so much! I’ll try to print them after work so I can reference them easily. Thank you again!
Building relationship in stardew valley is easy, relationship is problaly the first thing i've completed in the perfection list the same can't be said to my actual life.
I love friendship in the game. I don't know that I have a favorite NPC to gift, but depending on my goals for the game, I may change who I focus on first. For instance, if i plan to marry Sébastien, I'll start building friendship with Linus for thr sashimi recipe.
I was COMPLETELY unaware of the interruption penalty. Does anyone know if that was added in 3.5? I used to be the go-to Stardew info person for my friends but it's been a while haha
To my knowledge, it's always been there, but if it was an added thing it might have been when 1.4 came out, as the version history notes had a lot of other friendship changes. It's not something one would normally think matters, and it's kind of a nice little thing.
