I can honestly say ebucks is amazing. Many of the items in my house were purchased with ebucks and I even paid for flights. Also the partner discounts are great!
Thank you. My banker always tried to get me to do more but I just found it too complicated. But now with your video, I am going to start seeing what I can do. I am at Level 2 now. Let me try and be level 3 next month😊
Thank you Mfethu, I watched this and I followed the tips, Not me getting close to 5000 eBucks and I still need to do other areas to recover more points🎉🎉
Hey Yolz. Thats great to hear! UCoubt rewards can also be great if you have enough products from Standard bank. I'm curious, was it easy to reach their top level and how much did you make on average back per month in rewards?
You are heaven sent for this video 👏🏽 I’ve been with FNB for a while but didn’t use eBucks because I couldn’t be bothered to do the research😅 but it’s GREAT!
Hey Mela. You are most welcome! :) it took me a while to figure out the eBucks system, but once you have a checklist to do every month it becomes really easy to reach and maintain level 5 :)
Hi Pieter, thanks for your great video. Ive been doing these things, but wasnt sure if i understood everything. Your vid was very informative and helpful!Well done!
PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON CASH OUT REFINANCING A PROPERTY! With how to extract equity and what best to use if for, especially if you have debt. Would you use it to pay off debt first and then pay off the home loan with your salary? Or buy a rental property (either through deposit or cash using the COR LOAN) so you can have another property and tenants paying off the loan for you? I don't know if I'm evening making sense w the Q's but please make a video on refinancing property! 🙏🏾
Jip they can be sneaky with their point allocation. I will be dropping a video next week where I show exactly how I get to level 5 every month that you can watch for some ideas
Hi Pieter. Baie dankie.
Great information and thank you for doing the video! My only question is on the months cycle for ebucks. When does it start and when does the cycle of the month end?
Hey Didi. Thanks for watching :). The month cycle for eBucks is from the 1st until the 30/31st, but they only score your eBucks from the previous month around the 13th of the following month. So, for example, you need to accumulate 14 000 points between the 1st and 30th of September in order to reach level 5, but then your points and rewards will only be reflected on the app around the 13th of October :)
Hi Pieter, so doing all this gets you to level 5 on Ebucks and then? How did you earn you 1000 ebucks? Or does doing all of this give you the 1000 ebucks? Just making sure I understand the process. Thank you for your videos 😃
Hey Samantha. The instructions in this video should help you reach 14 000 points in order to qualify for level 5, but then you will still need to shop at certain retailers to get the cash back rewards. I mentioned the second part of this video at the end of the video, so you can just go and check that out to see how we get to the R1000+ per month :)
Donner that's a lot! Do you mind popping me a DM on Instagram with how you did it? I'm always interested in learning how I can improve further milk the eBucks system :)
That's what I thought. But it happened to me twice that they did not grant me the 2 000 points for transfers because I did not make enough prepaid purchases. I fought them over this but lost, twice, so now I just buy electricity 6 times so that they cannot have any excuse for not granting me those points
@@MoneyMarx Might be a Premier requirement? Either way, ebucks are great. Easily exceed the costs of the account so the bank pays you. Especially when you spend the ebucks on discounted items (which are rare nowadays).
@@AlexisZenios Yeah the extra time it takes to make sure you reach all the requiremnets are definitely worth the effort, especially once you have a system going. :)
He he in the early days of ebucks I supported ebucks and I bought a washing machine within a year. Today to accumulate 40000 ebucks it's been ten years. What you dont cover is the lack of day to day use buying partners that reward customers like Makro used to be.
All my streaming services are paid through Apple. If I set up my virtual card on Apple. Will I still qualify for that category? Or must I pay them individually using a virtual card?
Howzit Pieter, thanks for all the videos. South Africans need more financial literacy, so kudos. For some reason, I open the "Money smart budget" on the FNB app, open three categories (which I've set limits for as per your instructions) but still, the "Track my rewards" section of the app says "0 points collected" for that category under "Next month's progress". Any idea what I might be missing? Thanks.
Hey man. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos! :) The app takes a couple of days to update. But if you receive your eBucks from the previous month and you were not allocated those points, then make sure to query it on the Chat function, as they do sometimes make errors in calculating the points
