Hey, You should do a silver/gold rocknose video! The ones that are out there don’t explain them very well and I finally had someone show me how they work and it’s the ONLY way anyone should be doing silver/gold imho! Silver and gold is abundant but the rock nose produces so much that you can stock up and never have to chase after it again! Also, you might want to explain to people that world bosses drop silver and gold which you need to make alchemical base for the epic sets of armor. All the DLC sets and special armor like the Silent Legion/Champion set give you two bars of temperature control which you need for the volcano so farming some of the easier world bosses is a good way to get enough gold or alchemical(they drop that too) to make your first set of armor. The silver obviously doesn’t require anything special. Just an idea!
if you think that your not playing.. no offence unless you have about 25 to 30 Goldnose and Silver Noses producing actually prolly more than that.. you can farm silver at the silver mine and gold at the volcano far faster. 25 mins at silver mine over 700 silver ore 1 hour at volcano 600 gold ore.. far faster than the noses
derrick beale I originally felt the same way but once I started doing it that way the more I realized it was better because they can do it over night while you sleep. gathering the resources is tedious and the Rocknose do it with little effort. You have to keep going back and forth because of the limited amount of nodes esp silver
@@7gmeister I understand your laziness however your still wrong those 25 mins for silver and 1 hour at the volcano.. respawns.. in 2 hours I can out produce those rocknose for 3 or 4 days of nothing.. you seem to forget that 80% of the time they gold and silver rocknose produce more rock. however it does help out.. trust me.. I have almost 4400 hours played in game over 800 named thrall with legendary and epic gear for them and myself... the goldnose and silver nose are for top end players to farm it while farming armor scraps or weapons for days.. you can even then you can go into the wine celler and in about a hour or 2 of farming get all of the chests walk out with 300 to 400 gold and silver coins so... there ok.. I got some noses but don't depend on them for gold or silver there are far faster ways
Harden steel seems more trouble than star metal because you have to: hunt hide or mine charcoal to process for tar, then mine brimstone to process steel fire, then bake steel, then mine black ice to finally bake harden steel. While star metal is mine brimstone, mine black ice, bomb and collect star metal to bake.... ??? It's the rarity of the star metal that makes it less but that never seems to stop players, I've seen star metal weapons as a common in servers even when set as classic.
What about obsidian? I think that is the hardest bar to get since you need to go into the well of scelos to craft it. You will need steel bars plus obsidian to craft the bars at the furnace inside the well of scelos.
I did actually leave my point in the description about this! :) But this kinda thing I'll leave for a separate video since it is so different from every other bar and has very certain requirements
@@TALON-7 Personally since they added the black blood tools which are almost better than obsidian I prefer to use them & repair them. They have made repair kits a hell of a lot easier to get. If your a fast pace player though obsidian could be more worth it for you, the only thing I dislike on obsidian tools is the poor durability though which tempts me to use other tools. For a casual player though, I wouldn't think going to all the effort to get obsidian tools is worth it. They could stick to acheronian/starmetal and do just fine. Usually by the time pve player base gets to the volcano there game is over any how. (ofc I cant speak for all pve players) I do think the yield on tools such as star metal and above needs to actually be more/different since there harvest yield is quite similar though...
Hello i have a 200 star metal ore 1000 black ice and 1000 brimstone, it let me make 5 bars but wont let me use the other 202 ores to male more than the initial 5
