We live on the west side of this area. I feel like there's not a good name for our area so I call it the slice! It looks kind of like a pizza or pie slice on the map. The 540 is the crust and Crabtree is the point, with Glenwood and Creedmoor as the sides 🍕

We go on walks DAILY. Which neighborhood is most walkable, access to trails? Looking to find rental.

Bedford and Falls River are extremely walkable with greenway trails attached to the neighborhoods

Avoid NE Raleigh, just like he did in the video. He made sure not to mention Triangle Town Center Mall. He wouldn’t have done that 15 years ago. NE Raleigh has gone downhill big-time.

The area around Triangle was never a highly sought after area . Triangle mall had a strong 6-10 years of success before quickly deteriorating with the loss of major stores.

@@kcmark3 When I first moved to Raleigh in 2004, I lived in NE Raleigh off of Louisburg Road near the mall. When I moved to Cary in 2009, NE Raleigh wasn't in nearly as sorry condition as it's become. Even the signs on the Interchange at the exit from 540 onto Louisiburg Road now are neglected, faded garbage. It's like the City of Raleigh just quit caring about maintaining NE Raleigh, so the store closings are no surprise. Yes, I know COVID-19 happened, but that's not the biggest problem. NEGLECT is the biggest problem. I recently visited the Lowes on Capital Blvd, and there was trash on the ground all over the place. It's ridiculous. Yes, the people who throw trash out the window or drop it on the ground, are morons, but the City of Raleigh just lets liter stay on the ground most of the time.

@@traydevon I dont know about you but I've been in Raleigh for over 30 years. That lowes on Capital is in Mini City. Mini city has always been known for being a neglected area. It's always had cheaper rentals, crime, pawn shops, homeless camp in the woods behind lowes for like the last 15 years, etc. You are acting like mini city is suppose to be North Hills. It's always been like this bro lol
