You forgot Dordrecht and Gouda as daytrips. Both are 20 minutes away by train, and Dordrecht is also reachable by waterbus and you can certainly cycle there too. Also, Delft is about 20 minutes by train, not 30.

One tip the coolsingel is renovated now and more a walking street then a car street. The yellow bridge of 400m is closed now the wood is starting to rot.

@@scottsdaletravelchick not mutch its a verry compleet video. I have 2 more spots to visit. On saterday you have the oogst markt (harvest market) on the noordplein. Its a farmer market with food and drinks. On a good daybits nice to chill there. A couple meters further you also have a brewery called noordt. The next area is around the fenix foodfactory. Its located around the Rijnhaven between the ss Rotterdam and hotel New York. Also the area around of deliplein there its nice to spent time in the restaurants and bar. Also amusing to know is that the locals giving streetart, buildings and bridges nicknames. The erasmusbrug is called the Swan, the hoogstraat with the stairs is called beurstraverse but almost nobody knows its real name we call it the buying ditch. Also one more thing. Jenever is not Gin but Gin is jenever. The british made ginnever after the 30 year war in the netherlands. Later on they called it Gin so basicly jenever is the mother of Gin.

I wonder why he didn't include the neighborhoods Afrikaanderbuurt, Het Oude Westen, Feijenoord, Spangen and Crooswijk (just to name a few) in this guide.

We could have added but felt like we just didn't have enough information about the neighborhoods to do that. When we do our travel guides we like to have good information not just something that we found on the internet. We will have to make another trip to Rotterdam to check out some more places to visit by bike. Love Holland!!!!

Not to be offensive, but the neighbourhoods you mention are not that special for tourists. These are just some pre-war residential areas. Could be nice to take a peek if you just like strolling around the streets, but I think it is not the stuff for a travel guide.
