Cool to see the new slide “edge”. I like how they usually give discounts if you are also staying at wilderness. I know it’s only a few years old but everything looks clean and well kept. Hope they keep it that way for years to come! Excellent vlog!

I want to TY so much for doing this one. It was excellent! I’ve went there last year. Stayed on the lazy river for hrs then hit the pool. It’s a fun place. Keep putting out these awesome videos.
Great video and great detail Ryan! It looks like they offer more than Splash Country? They seem to nickel and dime you for everything! Lol! I guess most places are like that now. I love Splash Country even though it’s been a few years since we’ve been, but we’ll have to try Soaky Mountain soon!
We went to dollywood in 2021 and 2022 best experience ive ever and we have been wanting to try this water park. I know if dolly wood is great then this will be too. Im hoping i get my work bonus next month so me and my family can go 😊😊 we live about 2 hr and 40 min away so the good side is the ride there wont be that bad
We went 4th of July week, it was great. You can get discount tickets at Costco for $30. Saved my family quite a bit. Also, purchase your parking online to save a little.
We have gotten the $29.99 tickets at Costco too! We have also had great friends bring us in on bring a friend days as well. Standard 1 day parking online is $18.25, but then hit you with a $1.25 convenience fee. So It would save someone $0.50 if you prepay parking online. Thanks for your input Greg!

Thanks a lot for this review!! I've been so curious about this waterpark, since they started building it!! Quite pricey, but they have a lot to offer with that awesome lazy river & the Slippery Salamander (which my Son would LOVE!!!) I'd love a good coupon for this place😆👍

Yes we have stayed there. We have stayed at Bonnet Creek near Disney MANY times and we loved that it had the exact same layout/rooms that we were familiar with. I think you guys get a really good deal to get into Soaky Mountain Waterpark if you stay there. Thanks Randy!
Awesome!! When I reserved our July stay, I could have paid more to get discounted rates to Soaky Mountain. I didn’t want to commit to the extra per day charge rate increase and have opted to purchase the daily discounted tickets that we can purchase at the Wilderness resort since we will be staying there. It’ll cost fractionally more but we can pick what day/days we would like to go to Soaky Mountain!!
I use a cane mostly, but I can get around without it, but i was wondering, are there a lot of stairs? Also, are there plenty of things to do that don't require stairs?
I realize on that day it seemed like I had a lot of challengers or enemies who going for the same thing I thought either they were with me or supporting another person ,but it did turn into something else like a treasure hunt I do believe memory can help I had about two ad natures I had to attend for those out of sight water shoes
We live in the area and frequent the parks. Soaky mountain is very nice but there is NO SHADE. If you have a baby it can be extremely hot. There are plenty of umbrellas but zero trees. Splash Country is very shaded and way more comfortable for older adults and very small children. Just my two cents.
Does anyone know if it’s cheaper to rent a cabana the day of? I want to do it online early but someone said if you wait until the day of visit it’s cheaper. We are going for the first time and would take any info helpful.

This has me thinking about the trip I had with my school to the water park for a mustard drill ,an the rules of wearing water shoes or go barefeet there were schools from around the world with people that was in the health field like myself ,they said no one ever gotten this right do I believe it I don't know ,or go Bigfoot
Great video, thank you! Question? Me and my 2 girls are going there in a couple of weeks. I want to book a small clamshell cabana online but having trouble seeing a good map to pick the best one convenient to food, restrooms, etc. around the Soaky Surge area. Do you have a suggestion to which would be the best area to book one? I think I saw cabanas A - F on one side G - L on the other but not sure which side or which one would be best. I think there are a couple more but don't see them on the map. Also, I would probably be sitting there most of the day. My girls will be doing all of the attractions and just checking in periodically. If there are 3 of us, do you think that will be ok at the 2 person cabana considering they will probably just come and go, being there every once in a while to hang out and not really lounge there? I appreciate any helpful info.
We noticed the clamshell cabanas all around the Soaky Surge wave pool. I don't think there was too much of a difference as far as distance to food, restrooms, etc. from the ones we saw. I think closer to the shallow end of the wave pool will get you closer. I think a 2 person cabana would work fine for 3 people IMO. I tried to show what the cabanas were like the best I could, I hope this video helps and you guys have a fantastic day at Soaky Mountain waterpark dkp!

As I said in the beginning of the video, they run specials. This particular day of filming we got tickets for $29.99 from Costco and the kids got in free with showing an A on their report card. So keep an eye on their website for any specials Soaky Mountain Waterpark runs. I hope this helps Lydia!
@@AdventureIsOutThere that's good as it seems like a nice place but when I saw the price it appeared it would limit people on a budget. You figure $20 -$25 per person food then parking then tickets it can get expensive. That's why I feel they should allow sandwiches to be taken in
I Love that place but Don’t try to ride the water slides if u are over weight, they make u walk down all the steps u came up on and u have to say excuse passed all the people waiting to ride.
Hope one day i have got enough money for this cause I live in Europe😉🤔😢 ps:No own food??!! 😔 What about people have to eat gluten free or lactose free food?!?!??? Do they have anything not that it's my problem in this particular case but it really makes me so upset people like me and many other people can't have their own food but maybe they don't offer anything without lactose or gluten no matter if it's a waterparks, festivals that last many days, whatever you imagine.... 😢
