apparently there is an entire RU-vid segment devoted to reviewing bags and I just spent the last 4 hours of my life watching most of them. Your review pushed me over the edge to go with the Aer Duffel Pack 3, so thanks! Will use your link to try to help you out..
Good video but one suggestion is to show how the bag packs with and without shoes in the shoe compartment. The main selling point of these types of bags is the shoe compartment which invariably eats into the main cargo space, so it would be useful to see how much of a handicap this is to storage capacity with shoes in.
Thanks for the review, you did a great job of pointing out a lot of key items. Don't think I'll be going with this bag though as there were a lot of things that I did not like, but you helped me identify them and for that thank you! Keep up the great work!
Hi Joe! Thank you for your feedback, glad this video helped you with your purchasing decision. Stay tune we have a lot of upcoming similar items for review.
Another great video! With shoes in the shoe pocket, could you fit a pair of boxing gloves in the main compartment? And subsequently fit other stuff around them (eg clothes, gym towel, boxing hand wraps) and still use the water bottle pockets?
You began the video WITH THE SHOES INSERTED IN THE SHOE COMPARTMENT but later, after removing all items from the bag, stated it would not be possible with the shoes… I’m confused because the video began with EVERYTHING INSIDE THE BAG?
Ordred this as started riding to work but i go to the gym before and a normal duffebag is nearly impossible to ride with and my old backpack only just barely fits my cleaning stuff
The Aer Duffel Pack 3 sounds like a great choice for your commute! It should make carrying your gym gear and cleaning stuff much easier while riding. Hope it works out well for you:)
I'm surprised to see a comment like that on this video. Based off the numbers this looks super small. I'd expect and bag designed for gym AND work to be 30+Liters.
Huge? 21-24 liters is moderate to normal every day carry. Huge is 30 liters or more. This bag is great for daily use and for the gym. Honestly though as a gym bag it's a bit too small for my tastes. Usually I carry alot of stuff.
Ed, I really like the aesthetics of this bag, would you suggest this for a week-long trip? Is there sufficient space if I still bring along a spare pair of shoes?
@@RushfasterTV hmmm, I’m actually thinking between this and the Aer travel pack 2 small, which is larger about 28liters. It may sound a weird comparison, but it makes sense because the travel pack small is just a little larger than the duffel pack 2 and it also has a shoe compartment and laptop compartment. I have a similar size shoes as yours and I’m curious which would be a better choice when it might be used to gym and sometimes a weekend travel. Would the duffel pack 3 be a much slimmer choice for a everyday work gym pack? I’m struggling because I have very little experience on duffels and not sure how it works when a pair of shoes are put in, I mean how much space is left and is it enough for other stuff?
Hello! We appreciate your comment. We're exploring the possibility of featuring Parisian brands in the future. Keep an eye out for updates to discover the newest Rushfaster gears!
The external dimensions of the Aer Duffel Pack 3 are 52 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. To determine if a basketball can fit, compare these dimensions to the size of your basketball. If the bag is flexible and the dimensions allow, it might be possible to fit both a basketball and shoes in the main compartment.
Hello, the Aer Duffel Pack 3 has a paded and suspended laptop pocket. Its soft lining ensures safe transport of your laptop, with no additional sleeve required. Cheers!
The main compartment of the bag measures approximately 52 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm and it can fit up to 21.4L litres of volume. It should be able to accommodate a size 5 soccer ball with a circumference of 68-70 cm and diameter of 22-23 cm. However, please keep in mind that the backpack is not specifically designed for carrying sports equipment and you may want to use a dedicated sports bag for more frequent or specialized use. Hope that helps!
Wish they'd just let you cinch the shoulder straps and sternum strap super tight and just make the shoulder straps the trolley passthrough. Seems a little redundant since the straps just dangle while on a handle anyway.
Also, obviously not very glamorous, but could you leave the shoe compartment unzipped and throw shoes in from the inside, then pack everything else in, and just leave the shoes hanging? Clearly not ideal or cute, but might work in a pinch.
If you really go to gym a lot, you should know that a good gym bag is large and usually has a separated shoes/wet pocket. That’s it, no fancy features like this one. You don’t need WORK features in gym bag. If you have to, go buy another WORK bag.
