Oh yeah that brought back memories of working on the F-16's for that movie with your Dad. I also sacrificed my Mirage III NG , turned it into an enemy Kfir for the movie. Fun times working in the back shop. A-10 flew great ,love the bomb drop.
Always love seeing an A-10 in it's element - prowling for targets on the open plain with the woods behind for added effect. Great flying brother, hope you have a very Happy New Year spent with family and friends 🎊🎉👍😁
Chris. That FMS model looks good in the arctic camo. The 7000 6s pack makes it fly scale but i imagine a lighter pack it would get some bigger air. Love the bomb drop mod. Well done. 👍👍
Beautiful airplane! I have the smaller Eflight A-10 which I enjoy, but would love to upgrade to the larger FMS one day. I’m a huge fan of the Arctic camo sceme. As always, a very enjoyable, entertaining video. I need to look into the eflight drop system you mentioned. I’d like to do an upgrade to my A-10!
Awesome flying that A-10, which by the way happens to be one of my favorite Jets of all time. At the moment I have the 64mm e-flight a-10. Just wondering if the drop kit that you have will fit the e-flight version?? I hope that it will. And what do you all think about making a ejector pack for the A-10 as well, it would be cool since the real A-10 uses them. Food for thought? Lol.. Again I love the way that you fly this beautiful bird.. Thanks again..
P.s. Awesome that you used the movie clips as well. Iron Eagle. Love that Movie as well. Lol.😂😂 Again, awesome job with flying and bomb drop. That was cool.. Oh just one more thing, have you thought about putting the du-bro low bounce wheels on it? Just watched another video with them. 2 1/2 inch on mains and 2 inch on the nose. Just letting you know if you haven’t seen that video on it. Lol
Very clever Chris. Enjoyed the video immensely. Actually broke out laughing when the bombs hit and then there was the flames explosion. Happy New year to you and your family. Hope you're enjoying your new life. Going to pick up the Chandra Patte carbon cub today. A Christmas present to myself. I am stoked.
Nice looking plane . I was surprised how fast it flew . Bomb drop a definite hit !. As alway beautifully flown showing the A10 at its best . Thanks Chris , great video.
@@Thercgeek As a young solder in Germany( Royal Tank Regiment ) I had the pleasure of seeing the A10 live firing using the same range . They would start squirting directly over head , very impressive and unforgettable, you could see the aircraft shake and shudder . The sound of the gatling gun unmistakable. I swear it looked like the aircraft slowed down when it fired ! . Trip down memory lane 😂
Great review on a beautiful model. Could I please trouble you with one question: What style hinges are used on this plane? Good ones, or cheap foam? BTW, as an ex military pilot, I have a pretty good idea why the plane noses during low to high power transition. I won't bore you unless you have some interest in theory. Thank you! Dale.
Dammit! I finally had a plane before you. (8 years subscribed to your channel) I’ve had it for a month and 1/2, but the weekend weather around here has sucked. It looks nice sitting in the basement next to the Freewing 80mm a-10….
And thanks for the setup tips. FMS seems be lacking in that department, but they make it up with superb landing gear. I’ve got their Yak-130, Bae Hawk, Rafale, and the Futura v3 as well. All are most favorite edf’s ever every time I fly one of them. Never owned an FMS until this past Spring. Can’t say enough good things about their jets.
So Chris I was seriously thinking about the smaller EF A-10 Warthog II. So, this "bigger" FMS 1.5m A-10 requires a receiver, and you're using the Spectrum AR8360T?
@@Thercgeek That is awesome! Ordered several kits from your Dad in the way, way past, always a pleasure talking to both of them. Glad they are out and about and doing well.
