With my time in northeast India winding down, I decided to treat myself and do something I’d previously done in both Kolkata and Shillong: get an Indian haircut, shave, and massage, this time in the historical town of Sivasagar. Haircuts in India are easily the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had, and they’re super thorough and relaxing. I couldn’t wait to get started!

David, Get facial done too if you get chance in india. It feels amazing afterwards leaves you with clean sparkling face. Also if you go down kerla they have amazing massage and therapeutic therapys for low low. Kerla is know for that besides the great food.

The sad underbelly is that.... Only peaple belonging to low caste end up working in cheap hair cutting bussiness. It is considered as low dignity job. You will never find a brahmin guy working in a hair cutting saloon. If one does than he would be socially outracised and outcasted. Death to caste system.

Haha. The first time I got my head completely shaved it was from an Indian barber in Kuala Lumpur. Loved it, and never tried going back my increasingly thinning hair. Lol Thailand has great barbers and salons, too. Shoulder and neck massages were included. So cheap. High quality.

A close shave with a Feather Artist club ss in The Netherlands gonna cost 30 Euro incl 1 free beer. A haircut cost another 20 euro total 50 euro. In thailand you get a shave +harcut + massage + happy ending for 15 euro
