Thanks for the tips, after maining support for 7 years I've decided to venture into mid lane to carry more games myself instead of relying on teammates and this guide was super helpful! Hopefully I'll be 1v5'ing with Kat SOON!
Mate, I really gotta say I thought I already knew all this in my 200k mastery but, it still helped me a lot. I watch this before starting every solo q and it helps me focus. But I still play in silver so I lose anyways
long sword 3 pots into almost every game, electrocute and conq. works best for me and allowed me to peak ~300 last split. unless the matchup is just doomed then i take dark seal and hope for the best

I would love to grind that SoloQ ladder more and hit Diamond but I just don't feel as though I have the time with a full work life and all. Will keep trying though ^-^ I have no preference on starting Items, I play both ad and ap Kat, and just go for what I feel the situation calls for. Generally though those 2 starts you talked about are what I take, but I also consider LS + pots. Been also taking TP more often over ignite, especially if top is taking ig.
Ok watching you now I can officially say, and never thought I'd say that since I otp this champ for years, I need to be faster and more precise with katarina. I thought I had some quick fingers but you look like a top 1 riven almost as if you cancel kat animations due to it being so perfectly timed fast and precise... just... wow.
Its a good video but I feel like you focused on the wrong things. For instance the whole combo/tips and tricks section is completily pointless if you're above silver, that just comes with general game sense. It's more important to understand and showcase IN DETAIL how you survive ori or tristana lanes while still getting roams off(especially when enemy bot is playing super safe or ur jungle isnt playing with you)
i dont roam thst much as kata but ive mastered 1v1s in lane, even against champs like akshan, but i do go ad against hard matchups, but then bot feeds if i dont roam
overall going rabadons 3rd or shadow flame which makes you tankier gives more damage. You can go lichbane 5/6 item (Sell boots) as it will have more value the more ap you have.
If they build mr you go void since you gain more dmg from %pen if enemy don’t have a lot of mr you go shadow flame since the flat pen will give you more dmg
@@alikheiri-h2iIf they have a bruiser/ tank go Void staff 100% unless he really is out of the game. Its basically 300 HP vs being able to face top laner. The other scenerio is if u are so behind that u cant even kill squishy and need to scale fast, then going shadowflame before rabbadon and void staff might be the best option.
Just saying, i watched half the vid in champ select, tried to focus in my hardlosing game with quite useless team and made a solo carry from 0/3 lane to 17/3 in masters elo
Yeah ok sweet, I've watch tons of guide about stuff that u talk about and ok great!! But i wait for some messiah who will explain how to use Dagger properly how to use dagger when kata drag him too slow so enemy have time to avoid it.

Riven is the best Champ to counter Kata, her Kit deletes her. Q? Shield always rdy. Dagger? Just jumping out. Engage? Kata is dead. Also Zed is no Problem, but if u always buy Dark Seal, no wonder. If u go Conqueror then go it further, buy Dorans Blade and pick the green rune against Burst DMG and all in him, he will do it too because Zed brains works this way. Smash ur AA into him until he knows who is his queen!
yeah if ur able to gain a lead vs zed in the early game you will have a really easy time. Riven I havent vs a lot in mid lane but it is def a hard matchup but you can setup ganks with your jungler a lot since she will be shoving the wave all game other than that if jgler doesnt come its ff
