@@simonh5854 I'm 6'1" and am too heavy for my ol' ktm 300 XC so I just went up on the fork & shock springs. If you get a 690 smr off of a dealer have the dealer set the suspension for your body weight.

I love the look of these and might get one next. I have the 690 Duke but the SMCR looks next level. Does yours have the spare accessory connectors behind the headlight? My Duke has a permanent live and a switched live behind there!

Hi chops seeing as we are building the same kit for the same bike can we work together?that way if you make any mistakes I won't 😂, also might be worth getting a oberon clutch slave kit, Berkshire way so wouldn't mind advice, I also have a rev counter on mine.
Going to look epic, I’m waiting for my sc projects bling! What you thinking tekmo header with the sc projects rear? I quite like some of the FMF cans, they are short and sound epic, not sure on the performance though compared to say arrow, aka or the sc projects can?
Some of it is hanging overhead, some of it is in the back of my car... the rest is in the shed. Cylinders due back very soon so hoping to resume right after this is complete!
Looking good, how do you get on with declaring all the mods with your insurance? Does the power commander give much of a policy loading on the premium?

@@mykheaton no unfortunately not but at least it’s got a gear indicator rev counter, new brembo monoblock up front and different abs modulator and think (this one I’m not 100% on) they’ve upgraded the front forks as well. Regards

have u looked at the wings exhaust its alot smaller and apparently made in the same factory as the akrapovic theres a few vids on here i picked my 690 up other day i’ve already done the tail tidy delete i spent half hour looking for a keyhole to take the seat off 😂 you went in loadsa bling 💎 looking forward to more vids 👌🏻
Do you have the supermoto ABS dongle? I’m fitting one with a switch next to the map switch. The switch I have looks good next to it and is the same size.. lights up too!
I want the air intake kit on my 2020 SMCR only my dealer says it voids the warranty guess I need to wait a couple of years any thoughts or response from your dealer.

Looking forward to this build as I've got same bike. Don't you worry about the security of the power parts seat when you park up, I do about mine as there is no security..
Great stuff!!!. Looking forward to this series, but not sure my wallet is though 😂, I've put the KTM power parts small screen and aluminum handguards on my SMCR... The additional instrument gauge thing looks very interesting.👍👍
excited for this. i recently bought a 701 enduro, and now 6 months later im starting to realize i should have gone supermoto because i dont much like the idea of trashing it in the sticks, too expensive that! considering what it would take to do a mild conversion
