I’ve had one of these for a few years. I’ve never regretted getting it - very ergonomic (I use a similar desk setup to that shown in the video). Very well made and robust - recommended!
LoL the heatsink actually doesn't work. I've been using this for my MacBook since 2011, while the product is great for what it meant to serve, heatsink is just a marketing bluff.
This video is timely. I was using a similar stand that I purchased from Amazon a few years ago. Not as sturdy and well built as the one that is reviewed here but it sort of did the job. I'm in the market for a new one as the original now has a couple of holes drilled into the base and is mounted via cable ties to the handlebars of the bike on the turbo trainer 😀 This raises my iPad to the perfect height for work outs.
Can you do a video about perks of having an iPhone with a Mac and another one with Android?? Just an idea for 2 video❤️ love your content keep the good work up 👍
If I went the cheap route I'd probably just have the laptop connected to the monitor and use the laptop keyboard to type on, and skip both stand and keyboard. If I had the money to spend I'd get another identical monitor, use an external keyboard and put the laptop, closed, to the side. (Once the M1 gets the monitor fix).
Does the angle of the screen being that way, put a lot of strain on the hinges? How much does this stand affect the longevity of the hinge on the laptop?
They made a post about this, check the community tab. I can’t remember all the details but basically the channel owner was receiving blackmail threats related to the contest so he decided to not reveal the winner’s identity to protect their privacy. He said the winner was somebody that had been commenting on every single video they had made.
Can you please answer my question is the mba 16gb ram is the sufficient video editing, photoshop, Adobe premiere pro, 4k video editing and 3d modelling and raw picture. I will go with macbook pro 16gb

Looks cool but is basically no different from the cheap Amazon stand for 3x the price. Height adjustable laptop stands are the way to go, so you can get the ideal ergonomic position.
@@CreatedTech I have a couple of them, and they work really well! I have tried more expensive stands too, like this one, and the difference isn’t too big, after all they provide no added functionality. That’s why I use a height adjustable stand which is actually worth the higher price because it provides something more than just a cooler looking design. I use the same setup as you with a larger monitor plus the MacBook on a stand and to me it is really bothering that the MacBook screen is so much lower than the monitor, so non-adjustable stands are pretty useless.
@@GalaxyNexus1 Just ordered the rain M-stand swivel and after reading the comments, I feel like I might have made a mistake. is the stand giving you any issues
@@thedailyepochs338 I ended up getting the Bestand instead, just because of worries about the rubber. I like how the rubber on the Bestand is actually inserted into the metal and not just stuck on. I really like that stand so far, but the only thi g is I wish it was a little taller. According to Amazon, it seems the m stand is actually 1/2 inch taller, so that would be a little better in that area. Maybe I will still end up purchasing it too.
"This thing is solid and will probably survive a nuclear war". well, I came to see a review before buying it but I guess I'll wait a few more months to see if that's true...
